Since this is the Coronation Street thread, wouldn't this endcap have been more appropriate . . . ?

I agree. I loved the old Granada "G" logo. They should never have got rid ot it.

Last week on This Morning they said there would be another member of "Cilla's clan" joining the cast soon.
They didn't say who, but I think Fiz and Chesney are supposed to have another brother who I vaguely recall being in the army or something!
Be great though to bring in Cilla's mother - though I'm not sure how they should play her.
Either like Cilla, but a hundred times worse - or a prim and proper upstanding member of the community!

I thought the opposite, there were one or two good bits, but some of the storylines appeared to be dropped in like they were in a bad episode of Crossroads (the original one). Claire's tirade about being public spirited was dreadful - and very cheesily linked to some ITV campaign at the end. The bit with Claire with the bloke in the taxi where she started crying was a bit pathetic too.
Where did Rosie get nits from - she's been off school for the best part of 6 weeks?
What was all that about the safari park and Deidrie's glasses?
Why was Penny so upset about Mike not turning up at the factory in time - her reaction seemed a bit OTT?
These were two dodgy episodes I think.
