Good second episode, the ending was good, and the story finally seems to be moving on, poor Violet, I'm glad she left when she did, I like her and I don't want to hate her.

So predictable when Sarah fell into the pond. The whole thing is farcical... they're just codding with this whiting, it's not exactly brill - trying to come up with decent ideas must be giving them a real haddock...

They could have shown Charlie going into the gents to get a condom.

Its pathetic storyline all round really isnt it. Apart from that storyline and Shelly the rest of tonights episodes were good.

I thought Jenny Platt was fantastic as Violet in that last scene.

Agreed, last night had a few better moments, but generally at the moment most of the storylines are like something I'd expect in Neighbours. I think it really goes to show that they need to ditch the second Monday night episode unless there's a huge storyline underway.

One other quick thing... Was the actress who played the woman from the modelling agency last night the one who was in Brookside as Georgia Simpson who had the infamous incestuous affair with her brother Nat, or am I confusing her with someone else?

But he didn't, he went in the door which leads to the stairs. He was probably checking on Shelly, to see if she was asleep.

Really, I could have sworn he went into the gents, for obvious reasons.

I thought that too... hmm... could have been either. There were shades of Little Mo's date rape from EE a few years ago - and would Charley worry about using a condom? Would he care if Violet got pregnant or caught an STD? Surely he'd assume he could lie his way out of anything?

I missed that episode, but I thought Violet is HIV+. Either this has not yet been revealed or they have changed their mind about the storyline.

That was a rumour, Tony Wood said that this sort of story wasn't for Corrie.

There is clearly something we don't yet know, it was suggested last night the way she said her second relationship (prior to Jason) was "heavy" or "deep" or something along those lines. Could she be married? She rushed to turn Jason's offer down recently?

Yes that was Helen Grace who played Georgia in Brookside. I recognised her too.

As far as I know it was all just speculation that Violet is HIV+, however what she said about her 2nd relationship last night did imply it ended very badly, maybe she was raped? Its been good to find out more about Violet's past, she is one of the most likeable characters on the show at the moment.

As for Charlie, im sure he did go into the gents as it looked like he came out of that door when he saw Violet about to leave.
