Im afraid I dont like Diggory, or Adam Barlow. Both are terrible characters IMO.

Yep, the confrontation was good - plus, Diggory is turning out to be not as bad as I thought he would be.

Oh - slightly off topic I know, but haven't you noticed that Dev seems to 'not stand up for himself' at times? For example there was today's scene with him and Diggory, and Dev didn't have anything to say in retaliation to him. There was also that thump that Charlie gave him, Dev just replied 'You're going to regret this' and yet didn't do anything afterwards. And there was the Dev-Joe Carter fight in 2002, which resulted in Dev being smashed to the floor and Joe smirking. Hmm.

Corrie newsagent Rita Sullivan is to be stalked by a crazed pensioner as part of an upcoming storyline, according to The Mirror today.

The besotted OAP, Glenn, has been obsessed with the shop owner since her days as a club singer.

"The guy who fancies her is definite stalker material," a source told the newspaper. "Rita has had her fair share of bad relationships and just when she is trying to find a partner to suit her for the rest of her days all this happens."

The source added: "Not only has Glenn carried a torch for her ever since he first saw Rita on stage, he has also had a lifelong fixation with her. Every wife he has had, has been called Rita and has had red hair like her."

Well that sounds brilliant, and it's about time Rita's been given a juicy storyline.

Ha, that was hilarious. No, not Schmichael be ing hit by the bus. The fact that it said Coronation Street continues in five minutes, and then the Granada endcap. What? Does anybody else know why they did this?

Indeed, when people said it wasn't an hour long special but 2 episodes they wern't wrong, it actually WAS 2 seperate episodes. What with the ident at 9pm, it should really have been billed as 2 episodes!

Bit odd there was a Granada Manchester endcap, there isn't usually one at 7.59pm on a normal Monday is there?

It was definately 2 episodes, even the episode guide on Corrie.net has it as 2 episodes. But it was odd that they had a Granada Manchester endcap and then an ident into the 2nd episode. I think the schedule is the same next Monday so it will be interesting to see if it follows the same format.

They were good episodes tonight, nice to see the old characters in it more, like Betty, Rita, Blanche and the Duckworths.

I know it was two episodes, but surely it would be very easy to sort all that rubbish out. It's very easy to bung them all together when it's an omnibus so I really don't understand why they did that.

Maybe they had to show the Granada Manchester endcap as part of the copyright or something.

Anyway, did anyone see Cilla making eyes at that Vet. Apparently he is gay, she will be mortified when she finds out!

Yeah, I didn't even realise that this would be the vet that Sean eventually will 'take a liking to' until I saw the end credits!

Did anyone notice that ITV1 showed a few minutes of CLI during Corrie last night in an attempt to get more viewers to watch CLI. Maybe thats the reason they showed the Granada Logo, as they were going to another program for longer than a trailer would be?

I heard that the vet Tim becomes Sean's boyfriend, not sure if its true or not.
