I'm left quite shocked after watching Shelly's physical attack on Sunita (although most of it was heard and unseen) on tonight's Corrie.

I hope this is the climax of the Charlie storyline as I'm not sure how much more unpleasant they can make it.

Pretty shocking, that scene. I'm also quite shocked that all Dev could do was (from what I saw, anyway) put his arm or hand up, protecting himself rather than poor Sunita!

No Coronation Street next Wednesday due to the Champions League Final. So therefore, double episode on Monday and now Friday.

I posted that on page 158 Wink

Nice to see them giving Betty something to do in tonights episode, Diggory is really annoying though, glad he only got 1 scene in tonights episode.

Yes, I'm really not fond of Diggory either - he just seems a bit too wacky. Having said that, lots of characters who start off larger than life 'soften' pretty quickly so we end up liking them. Fizz, the Battersbys, Cilla and Sean (just to name a few who spring to mind) were all very OTT at first, but soon calmed down and fitted in.

Also, was it just me, or did Danny Baldwin appear to have conjuctivitis last night whilst they were having their meal? Either that or someone had just poked him in the left eye with a breadstick!

Oops. Embarassed Note to self, must read more carefully.

Anyway, good episode tonight. And was it just me, or did we see the first signs of Mike Baldwins Parkinsons storyline. It was very subtle, very realistic.

I think you mean Alzcheimers' . I think that there have been one or two little things recently. I think Johnny Briggs willbe giving a good performance throughout the storyline.

I think I should stop embarrasing myself and quit posting forever. Embarassed

Yes im sure Johnny will give a good performance in this storyline, but im not so sure about the actor who plays Adam, he isnt very good IMO, clearly like Nick and Warren he was hired for his looks. Alzheimers will be a difficult storyline for Corrie to tackle but im sure they will do it well.

Im getting a bit sick of Charlie and Shelly as well. And it was unrealistic IMO how she managed to keep her job after attacking one of her customers, Sunita, on Monday. Fred should have sacked her immediately after the way she carried on.

Rumour has it that Sean will be getting a boyfriend this summer, a vet called Tim played by Silas Carson. Maybe he will be the vet who treats Schmichael after his accident?

More Corrie Schedule Changes

Bank Holiday Monday, 30th May the schedule is as follows;

7.00pm Emmerdale Family Album
7.30pm Emmerdale
8.00pm Airline
8.30pm-9.30pm Coronation Street

Well I can understand Corrie being moved from its regular slot for live football (like what is happening this week) but for an Emmerdale special? Rolling Eyes Couldnt they have shown that on the Sunday? Also the 7.30pm Monday episode is the one which gets the highest ratings on ITV during the entire week. The 8.30pm episode will not be a proper 1 hour special but 2 episodes stuck together.

I forgot to mention this in my previous post, but Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow) contract has been extended by 6 months. It was thought she would leave at the end of the year but now she will be on screen until Mid 2006 at least.

And Bev Unwin (actress Susie Blake) is returning to the show in a few weeks time, hopefully this will make the Shelly storyline slghtly better viewing now Bev is going to be involved.

It's Bank Holiday Monday, they obviously wanted to do something different. The Emmerdale special could have been shown on Sunday but then again it could have been not made at all but they obviously wanted it to use on Bank Holiday Monday
Nobody complains when Corrie is not on at 7.30pm on Christmas Day!

Well, it's better to have a bit of change, a 1 hour special is very rare for Corrie, so I'm glad.

I also agree about previous comments about Adam. He's a terrible actor, but of course, Nick lasted a long time so there's no chance of him going yet. Sad
