Well, he left a gap between two dashes. Just highlight that space and you'll find out, he just didn't want to reveal it to anybody who didn't want to know.

Great episode tonight, and I've just realised how much I appreciate Les and Cilla. They're excellent and provide some great laughs. Nice to see that there was no sign of Angela tonight as well. And Cilla screaming was classic. Only Corrie! Smile

What I want to know is what the order of command in that Fish Shop.

Les calling Cilla 'my little battered sausage' is hilarious, the sort of thing Jack would call Vera.

Good to see Janice winding up Cilla, and Leanne winding up dim Candice. Oh and I never commented on the "Clare Smillie presents Stars and their Bins on UK Entertainment" business from last week!

Oh yes, that was brilliant. I know that the Corrie writers are making all this up, but I wouldn't be surprised if these channels actually exist. Or if ITV actually commissioned Stars and their Bins. Very Happy

Coming soon to ITV1 . . . "Celebrity Trashcans"! And don't forget "Celebrity Trashcans Extra" straight after on ITV2!

Tonights episodes were brilliant, the right mix of comedy and drama. Go Reet! for puttingCilla in her place, and it was funny when Les and Cilla were trying to be nice to everyone. The incident with Candice was hilarious when everyone was listening to her on the radio, as was Fred in the corner shop Laughing

Ian is such a slimeball now, good on Sally slapping him, I did think for a minute he was going to tell Kevin everything, that was quite a good scene, great that Sally has been given some dramatic scenes.

And boo at Charlie for being mean to Sunita (we love Sunita)- what a ba-s-t-ard! Dev was quite funny though when he started talking louder and slower as usual! Laughing .

Well he always does that!, Good to see Dev back. I thought the flood was a good excuse to refit the shop back to looking like an actual shop

Rita was good tonight, finding out about Cilla and Les's plan. The business on the radio was hilarious "Look I've seen something.. you can see the Trafford Centre from here!"

Oh and don't you wish people like Emily Bishop actually existed in real life

What do we think of Diggory, (or Diggorrh as Audreh calls him) finally occupying the former Hardware shop. I expect good rivalry with Fred Elliot.

What was Craig's Granddad playing at tonight, one minute being nice next minute putting a fork through David's football

Sally was brilliant tonight, Sally Whittaker for Best Actress next year! Hope this is the last we see of slimy Ian, although the hatred I have for the character proves the actor is doing a good job.

Good on Betty for telling Charlie off - nice to see Betty being given a bigger part rather than just saying the usual "thanks lovie" lines in the pub.

Rita and Norris were funny, Keith was boring though, dont see why they cant just write him and Craig out of the show.

Just seen the soap awards on ITV1 - Great to see Corrie did so well. Suranne Jones speech in particular was very good, it showed that even though she has left the show she is greatful for what the street did for her career. Great to see Sasha Behar as Mad Maya again too. Shame Maggie Jones wasnt able to attend to pick up her award, but Malcolm Hebden was funny.

But the highlight had to be Jean Alexander who played one of Corrie's most loved characters, Hilda Ogden, presenting an award for scriptwriter John Stevenson. Nice to see a selection of classic clips in particular the one from 1976 with Hilda and Elsie having a row in the pub and Annie trying to stop them - that was classic corrie!

"Ladies, I hope you're not having another altercation?" Laughing

Yes, it was nice to see Jean Alexander again, it's a shame we'll never see her again on Corrie as she has said she doesn't want to return. Loved tonight's ep, though, especially the fight between Cilla and that man, running down the street with him ending up weeping!

Apparently Martin Platt is to be written out of the series, according to people on Digital Spy forums. I hope this is true as he is so boring. The character has been there since 1985 so its time he went.

The week after next there are some small schedule changes due to sport on the Wednesday night. There will be no episode on the Wednesday but two episodes on the Friday.

I've read before Martin was to be written out - but only for afew months.

I've been disappointed with Ian McKellan's story line - very boring. Plus when you have such a fine actor as him in a soap, the poor acting from the rest of the cast stands out liek a sore thumb (or some might say even more then usual). For instance in one scene you have Ian Mckellan...the next you have the awfull Wendi Peters as Cilla.
