Corrie is fantastic at the moment and they aren't featuring too much of the Killer Katy story anymore - maybe they have been reading this forum and cut out excessive portions of that storyline?

Blanche - the facilitator! LOL Razz

The whole book club storyline has been fantastic and has given Corrie some amazing comical storyline this year!

Let's hope they thrash Eastenders arse again!

Did anyone see the most watched tv moments last night on C4. I always thought Hilda leaving in December 1987 was the most watched episode of Corrie with about 26.6 million viewers, but apparently it was Alan Bradley getting killed by that tram in 1989 with 26.9 million. It was great to see that storyline included, certainly one of the best storylines in Corrie's history, great to see Sally Ann who played Jenny commenting as well.

I saw that, and it was great to see some classic scenes from Corrie, including the episodes from the 1960s.

Corrie has won Best Soap at the soap awards!

GET IN!!!!

Apparently Corrie got 8 awards and EE got 5.

EDIT: One shock result is Jodi Albert from Hollyoaks getting sexiest female, this is the first time someone from EE hasnt won this category.

Yes im happy Family Affairs got 2 awards, they deserve them so much. And they beat Emmerdale and Hollyoaks too Very Happy Im glad Hollyoaks and Emmerdale didnt do so well, maybe they will take a look at both of them and make some improvements, especially with Hollyoaks.

Looking at the article on teletext it appears Sally Lyndsay and Wendi Peters made the speech on behalf of Corrie for Best Soap.

You are having a laugh!! who votedfor her? all the pubescent teenagers who watch Hollyoaks??

Great episode tonight, and I've just realised how much I appreciate Les and Cilla. They're excellent and provide some great laughs. Nice to see that there was no sign of Angela tonight as well. And Cilla screaming was classic. Only Corrie! Smile

Yes Cilla was brilliant tonight. Im also looking forward to the Sally affair coming out into the open.

I think Angela has left the show now, doubt we will see her on screen again.
