Just catching up on the week's Corrie and it has been a very good week's worth of episodes.

Luckily the Harris storyline hasn't featured that much and they are some good sub-plots ongoing. I enjoyed the coffin delivery and assembly, Gail at the helm in her house with everyone back 'together', Fred Elliot with his bottled water scheme and the most entertaining plot was Leanne Battersby and Bradley Walsh having dinner. The dinner scenes were great and highlight the great acting and scope of all the actors and some great storywriting.

Well done Corrie - after the last few weeks of doom and gloom there is some light at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait to see where the current Scooter character is going aswell!

Yes, theres some new story lines coming up that look entertaining such as Freds water thing and Seans bingo career.

It looks like ITV have messed up the scheduling of Corrie yet again and we are this time one episode behind where we should be. Ken and Deirdre's wedding was meant to be a one hour special but they scheduled it as 2 half hour episodes.

In Friday's episode Tracy Love was asked when the funeral was and she answered that it was on Friday, but its on screen tonight.

Hopefully with all these extra episodes (we have 7 eps this week and 6 eps next week) they will get back to showing the correct episodes on the correct day as its quite annoying especially when half the Monday double is on the wrong day.

Meanwhile the funeral tonight looks like its going to be very sad, I actually feel sorry for Tracy.

Hmmmm, in one post you are saying that ITV are showing too many episodes of soaps in a given week and then you want them to catch up and show more some weeks so that they are back on track!

I'm confused.

I dont want them to show more episodes at all, I just want them to show the correct episode on the correct day. And I said by having all these extra episodes they SHOULD be able to get back on track.

Im not talking about the storylines, im talking about the scheduling.

At the moment we are 1 episode BEHIND where we should be, the Ken and Deirdre wedding was supposed to be a 1 hour special screening on 8/4/05. But they showed it in 2 parts on 8/4/05 and 10/4/05 meaning tonight we are seeing an episode meant for a Friday.

Wouldn't that have clashed with EastEnders?

More likely they would have had 1 episode at 7.30pm and another at 8.00pm.

It was definately a 1 hour episode.

Corrie has just won the BAFTA for continuing drama - well done to them, very well deserved.

What was that music they played when they were going up to collect it?

What a pointless question - seen as its on only one channel I dont think you need three guesses to work out the answer to your question Rolling Eyes

Glad they were the second category as I dont have to watch the rest of it. Wink
