I saw it on Wednesday on ITV2, it was good but most of the clips were far too recent, they should use these shows as an opportunity to show older clips, its almost as if everything pre 1990 never happened!
Yes I think they only showed 1 clip with Ivy/Gail which was a shame.

Did anyone else see Coronation Street Secrets tonight on ITV1?
It was a good programme, with funny interviews, but I wish they could have covered to "Gail turning into Ivy" story a bit better, rather than showing bits of one scene of Ivy on Gail's doorstep.

Reports indicate that Rovers barmaid Bev Unwin is set to exit the Street, when she commits suicide.
But she might be just the first of Coronation Street's characters to face the chop, as an 'atmosphere of fear' sweeps the set. Reports in this morning's Daily Star indicate that Tommy Harris and his wife might also be on the way out, as part of a 'secret storyline'. But it seems that Bev, played by Susie Blake, will not survive for long. 'It seems certain that Bev will be killed off,' an insider told the tabloid. 'She's been through a lot with the loss of a husband and one of her daughters,' he said. The insider added that 'she has been humiliated with her pursuit of Charlie . . . soon she'll decide she has nothing to live for.'
Mechanic Tommy and Angela Harris are also under threat in a 'top secret plotline' to rival that of Richard Hillman. 'It's impossible to penetrate the secrecy surrounding the cull, but a clue to the family's fate could well come from the past.' The couple, played by Thomas Craig and Kathryn Hunt, arrived on the Street as part of a witness protection scheme.

Oh no, not a suicide. How depressing.
Poor Shelley, first her Dad dies, her sister, she's married to a bigamist and her mother commits suicide. How much baggage do they want this one character to have ?

I also heard they were considering a terminal illness storyline for Bev, tbh id find that more depressing than a suicide.
I also read this about Tracy Barlow in the Sun;
CORRIE bitch Tracy Barlow's new love was an Emmerdale stud.
Hunky Glenn Lamont played Sarah Sugden's toyboy Richie Carter in the rural
soap. He will move on to the Street as Matthew, the driver for a florist where
Tracy (Kate Ford) also works.Insiders say she becomes so obsessed with him, she hides the fact that she has baby Amy. One said: She leaves her dad Ken and even Roy and Hayley holding Amy while she jumps in the sack. She enjoys the relationship for sex, not love.

Has anyone else seen the new Corrie Trailer? I saw it tonight before Love On A Saturday Night. It is Karen standing in front of a mirror with her head down, and her reflection is taking to her, saying stuff about Tracy and how she should get revenge on her etc. Then it has the caption "Revenge is Street"
Did anyone catch the omnibus on ITV1 this afternoon, I missed it but was wondering if ITV showed an edited version or just showed 3 of this weeks episodes, as there was only a 90 minute slot allocated.

I only managed to catch the last hour of the omnibus but all five episodes were shown but they were all edited, the stuff they kept in were:
- Ashley and Claire
- Nick being interviewed by Penny King
- Sally selling tickets to everyone.
But I assume they cut some of the dull parts out.
I didn't see any reason why they should cut it, ITV on a Saturday night isn't that great! It would probably boost the ratings if it was on from 3.30pm until 6pm.

Aye, aye!?! (Sorry, couldn't resist it

Wasn't there a rumour of Tracy and Ciaran getting together? That would've been interesting...
