The Barlow's house amuses me. The front room made an appearance! Yet Ken was sleeping on the sofa which happens to be in the same room as the dining table. What exactly is in the front room?

I think the front room is used as a bedroom for Blanche. She has moved into Ken and Deirdre's bedroom which is why Ken has to sleep on the sofa, Tracy Love is in her own room.

I seem to remember it also used to be Albert Tatlock's room. I don't know what became of it between Albert Tatlock and Blanche using it though - presumably it just wasn't mentioned. Wink

Yes thats right, when Ken married Deirdre in 1981 Albert used that room as a bedroom so Tracy could use his old room upstairs. I think it was just used as a front room and just wasnt seen on screen following Albert's death.

I see it was Tony Morris from Granada Reports tonight being the newreader when Roy rushed to put the TV on. Laughing

Anyone spot that weird Gas machine next to Tyrone that Harry Hill has made fun of before! (If you know what I mean)

Not the first time they've used Granada News presenters in Corrie, I've heard Lucy Meacock's voice a few times and I remember Bob Greaves appearing when he was introducing a story about Alf Roberts when he was councillor.

Its going to be awkward for the writers to keep Craig in isnt it?

surely the lad would prefer to move away, rather than have his grandparents move in with him??

Well, seeing as Charles and Camilla are now not getting married until Saturday, will Corrie edit out the little joke they included about the other royal wedding, or will it be too late for that Confused:

Corrie bosses are reportedly editing out direct quotes but leaving subtle one's in.

I can't be doing with that grandmother, she's even more annoying than Angela and that's saying something.

One member of a family staying is one of those very unrealistic things that happens all the time in soaps, but then again I suppose your sister murdering your dad is equally unrealistic!

I think its Angela's father who moves to the street rather than Tommy's mother.
