Leanne is to have an affair with Danny which will run up to a Christmas showdown between Danny, Leanne, Frankie and Jamie.
You know, I don't really care. I think Danny has fitted in well, Frankie is on the verge of having potential - but Jamie and Leanne are the most pointless, boring characters on the show I think.
The last few episodes have had their moments, but they've essentially been the same episode over and over again really.
Lucy Jo Hudson has been very weak, not showing any differing emotions, whilst Angela has been totally unbelievable. Im the biggest fan of the Street but I feel this story hasnt been handled well.
A particularly emotional episode tonight. Re: Tracy's tears - were they the tears of 'Don't go, die here - I want some of your inheritence too!' or... real?
The Daily Star Sunday reported that the actresses who play Frankie and Candice are both quitting the show. It said Nikki Sanderson is quitting because of Danny Young leaving and they are both going to look for work in London. Cant say either will be a huge loss to the programme.
Tonights episode was really good, I liked the scenes with Tracy and Ray, and the Harris family saying goodbye to Tommy. Also Sonia has finally left now, and the scenes with Roy, Hayley and Chesney have been particularly good in recent episodes.
It would be interesting if those rumours proved true, no major loss of Nikki Sanderson, but the opposite for Debra Stevenson as she's good IMO, one of the better recent additions, interesting to see how they would write them out.

LOL! I hadnt noticed that come up in the swear filter before.
Yes I do think Debra is very good, but she wants to leave for a singing career apparently. I think that Leanne could have something to do with Frankie leaving as ive heard Danny has an affair with Leanne.

Can anyone remember Candice actually ever having a proper storyline?
Apart from her stepfather making a pass at her or something, which led to Audrey asking her to move into the flat above the salon. She came in for a few episodes as Sarah's friend back in 2000 and was so popular they asked her to stay apparently.
I'm sure most of you will be pleased to hear the Tram crash story line (which would have apparently killed 7 people) has been shelved. Transport big-wigs refused to get involved. (The Sun) Also later this year Sunita falls pregnant and Dev has an affair *yawn* (Mirror)
