The stuff with Katy and Tommy was very good but I liked the stuff with Ray Langton more, probabaly because I love it when old cast come back to the show, and Deirdre and Tracy are 2 of my fave characters.
Also that line about Tracy upstairs playing her tapes was so right, she used to be up there for months on end and would finally come down played by a different actress!

What a load of predictable bollo%ks. The build up was great but then it started getting obvious. There was me thinking how would she kill him. Would she use a gun, would she pick up a tool. Nope, Tommy hands her the weapon! But then with a instrument of death in her end, we are led to think how its going to be used. Predictable clause no.2, Tommy's back is turned and who's thinking what's she going to do.
What a waste of time. Still she got an ITV ident out of it!

TBH, Coronation Street can do better than this, and I am hoping that the aftermath is far more dramatic than tonights 'slightly' above average episode. And where did Angela come from. She just stepped to the side, and put her hand to her mouth. Love, your daughter has just killed her father and your husband. If that was me, I wouldn't just stand there and put my hand on my mouth. I wonder what the ratings were. It'll be interseting to see if Corrie managed to acheive the ratings that EastEnders got for the End of Den.

The Tracy line - classic!
To me I preferred the more insulting "Stuff a cake in it, you fat b*tch".
Too offending? I think not. Maybe. Oh well.
(Sorry. Dunno what's come over me. It's probably the Schweppes bitter lemon.)
I agree that the ending was indeed a bit 'naff', I was hoping for a more dramatic ending considered the build-up to the moment, strange how they also kept it as a normal half-hour episode.

Great music on the Killer Katy idents!
Two great lines so far in this corrie:-
"You drop dead..." to Tommy
and Tracy talking to Ray Lancton,
"I was always upstairs playing my tapes...."
Great stuff!

Thats about the average amount they get for a normal episode isnt it? Have to say, as much as I love Corrie, serves ITV right, the in your face way it was promoted with trailers, break bumpers, and even large adverts inside some newspapers yesterday, it was way OTT.

If ViewingFigures.com is accurate, last night's episode had 11 million viewers, peaking in the final 10 minutes with 12.5 million.
Don't quote me on this as I'm not sure if this is correct, we'll get more detail on Monday anyway.

Well what more could they do really, it was oibviously going to be a quick thing right at the end of the episode.
I think the aftermath will be more gripping, have you seen the new trailer? Yes another very good trailer has been produced
