Has Reg Holdsworth got his wig yet? or was that later?

Not yet, later in 1993 or maybe 1994? Maureen and Maud Grimes arrive soon so Reg is definately involved in some storylines soon.

1993 I think was a big year for the McDonald family, despite the family being in the show for 3 years + they were given time to settle in (unlike the current Harris family who are boring) and didnt really come to the front of the action until 1993.

I've loved the Plus episodes this week, it is getting better and better. When is it when Carmel gets pushed down the stairs? As that will be good.

Yes, its been better than the ITV1 episodes this week IMHO

I think she more falls down the stairs than is pushed, Gail and her are arguing because Carmel tried to kidnap the kids from Sally, who was looking after them, and and I think she is threatening Gail and grabbing hold of her and sort of slips and falls but accuses Gail of pushing her. Looking at one of the episode guides on Corrie.net this happened on 17 March 1993 so its quite a while yet as we are only at early January 1993.

Anyway, what did everyone think of last weeks episodes? Bev is getting annoying now and Gail is definately turning into poison Ivy! Laughing Its a shame Tracy had come between Liz and Deirdre as they were such good friends. But the funniest bit was Katy/Tommy/Karl in the rovers!
Also great to see Sally give that Cilla a mouthful! Go Sally! Laughing

Todd gets trapped in a lift with Karl with just enough time to have a conversation before the lift gets going again, what are the chances of that happening!

Instead of having a chat wouldn't banging on the door and shouting for help be more important!

They have a button on lifts you push in an emergency I think, so perhaps Karl did that.

I know how Karl feels when he said gay people cant hold hands in public etc for fear of being decked. I wonder if we will meet his boyfriend "Robbie"

It made me laugh when they were in the lift and Todd said he needed the toilet, I was thinking it was on old lift, which stinks of urine he probably should have gone in there.

Though I loved it on Friday when Katy told Tommy that Karl that 'He Were Ge-ay', I love that accent.

Plus I didn't realise until the other week that the actress who plays Bev (Shelly's mum) was the same woman who's character who was responsible for laying off Victor Meldrew in the first episode of One Foot in the Grave.

And "Miss know it all" Tina Baker is soooooo annoying

Yes, the whole lift thing was so contrived. And since when have hospital lifts been as nice as that ? Some good material no doubt for Harry Hill in there. Laughing

I agree that it was contrived however this storyline has dragged on for ages, its high time it moved on a bit.

On the ITV2 programme I just heard Daran Little say the reason they recast Nick was because they wanted an "actor" to play him - what a joke! Laughing

Yeah! "Whats that?.......Mr Barloow?!" Laughing

Nick Tilsley is soo camp! "How would you get off a settee? " as Harry Hill mentioned... "Ooh Chase me!" "crush a grape!" Laughing

Also I hate the way he takes a deep breath before every sentance! "Huhh and thats not it Candice..." "Huhh well I think you should talk to Mr Baldwin."

As annoying as Nick is, it was quite funny tonight when Maria cooked a meal and Nick paid David a fiver to say it was nice. And then David asked for dessert, Maria didnt have any but then Gail said there was some in the fridge. However, this storyline seems to be recycled from when it was Gail/Brian/Ivy

Ashley and Claire are together - thank goodness for that Laughing

is it just me or did claire have snot on her face when ashley kissed her? call me childish, im only 13. Very Happy

and is bev so annoying, thank god she's been axed. and ken has been in it for over over 40 years, why get rid of some great characters they have in the past, and keep KEN for all this time, corrie can survive without him!

Ken is the only original cast member/character left, it probabaly wouldnt be quite the same without him.
