From Digital Spy Forums, some dates of upcoming events confirmed

Ray Langton returns on Wed 2nd March and collapses like it said in the Sunday Mirror on Friday 4th March.

Katy and Tommy have a dramatic showdown on Friday 4th March.

Wow, sounds great, will it be a one hour episode on that friday? I do hope so, even though I'll be trying to watch most of Comic Relief as well.

Grr, I hate how Corrie's best climaxes are put against comic relief! Richard's death plunge lost viewers to Comic Relief - it still got 17million+, but still, annoying.

Ive noticed this is the 2nd time they have a dramatic episode of Corrie when Comic Relief is on. Back in 2003 it was the conclusion of the Richard Hillman storyline.

No information yet on whether it will be a 1 hour episode/double episode.

Well your post wasnt there when I posted it, when I posted the last post was from 02cashindavid.

I wonder if March 17th (when Rosie and Craig think its the end of the world) will be when Katy leaves or when the Sally/Ian affair is found out.

Wait! We're all saved! I got mixed up, Red Nose Day is March the 11th, not the 4th like I thought. Sorry! Embarassed

It would be a shame if that came to nothing, enough air time has been dedicated to it.

SHAMED TV JIMMI IN RETURN

DRUG shame Corrie star Jimmi Harkishin returns to the set next week after convincing chiefs he is now clean.

The star, shop boss Dev Alahan, was given leave to beat his habit after a December newspaper showed him snorting cocaine.

Despite speculation he would go to the Priory rehab unit, he had private counselling and convinced experts he was not hooked on the drug.

Jimmi, 45, narrowly escaped the sack and his quick comeback has surprised insiders.

One said: "Some of us thought it would be in the summer. Others thought he'd never be seen again. He's a lucky lad."

Bosses have warned it is his final chance.

His first new scenes, of him and wife Sunita going to the Rovers, will be aired in early April.

-------------------------------

I didnt expect him to be back so soon. I hope this means they will consider bringing Maya back too.
