Did Sally and Kevin's hall walls paint and then unpaint themselves tonight?
There have been a few little continuity oddities. When Chesney was upset during the search for the dog, and hid in an outside toilet, there was a full roll of pink loo roll when he went in, but when they went to a high angle shot looking down on him, the roll was almost empty.

What was up with Scooter tonight? He was acting really weird. Tonights episode wasn't very good to be honest, and Amys birthday party was uneventful, but I am happy for Ken and Deirdre. The best part was Tommy having a go at Martin. 'Hey Peado!' Overall, not up to Mondays standards, but still quite good.
I actually thought tonights episode was really enjoyable, the scenes at the Barlow's were great with Blanche and that friend of hers, the row between Deirdre and Blanche was brilliant too. And Ken proposing to Deirdre and her accepting was nice.
I also liked the scenes with the Battersby's trying to get the "ransom" money together, andTommy and Martin at the end was good too.
9/10 for tonights
I also liked it the other night when Ernie's murder was mentioned, its nice that they mention stuff that happened over 25 years ago, thats why its good we have characters who have been in it a long time, and with Ray coming back too at least there are quite a few characters who will actually remember who he is (aside from Ken, Deirdre and Blanche there is Rita, Emily, Betty, Gail, Mike and Vera who should all remember him)
Agreed, it was a really good episode last night. I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times.
I was intrigued by Blanche's new friend though. Her role seemed almost indentical to that of Wanda. I wonder if they wanted Wanda for the scene, but perhaps the actress was ill or unavailable, so they got a replacement.
[edit] Just remembered my favourite line from last night from Cilla to Fizz: "What exactly are you incinerating?"

I was thinking this, or else all of Blanches friends are sex mad alcoholics.

Agreed, I like the way Corrie refers back to past events and characters, and credits the viewers as having a bit of memory/knowledge too. Far too often in shows the characters go off into some convoluted dialogue / reminiscing for our benefit - you know 'Remember Emily Bishop's first husband who was shot dead in a wages snatch at the factory, blah blah..' and then the scenes come along with Emily, Norris and the novel.
According to Sky.com Nick will be back later this year...but played by a different actor! Adam Ricket rejected a return, but the character is "needed" later this year, so they're casting someone else. Also Blanche's friend Leena will become more of a regular character. I'd much prefer Wanda to become a regular, i didn't reckon much to Leena.

Wonder if Warren Jackson(the original Nick) will audition, or has he given up acting for good? (Wasn't he working at a car wash not long after his axing?)

A very good point. The subject of the 'missing pages' of the book ended up being both unexpected and quite touching.
According to my soaplife mag, for the issue covering 26th February-11th March it says for Corrie, "Who Kills who in a fit of blind rage?!" and "Which face from the past shocks Deirdre?", so it wont be long now until *those* storylines!
I was just reading an article about Sarah Platt and it was saying what a nice guy Scooter is and how she is going to be happy with him, but is it just me or does he does it seem like he is not all he seems?
