The humour in tonights Corrie was on top form, I liked it when Leanne embarrassed Norris by reading part of that book in the cafe, and than that scene in the Kabin when Rita said she would only join the book group if she could have a drink (ive always thought she is a little too fond of the Vodka Laughing ). The scene with them alt the book group in the rovers was good too Laughing

Now Gail knows about Sally's affair I wonder how long it will be before someone else works it all out too. Noticed Gail mentioned the plank of wood tonight too. Maria and Tyrone are soooooo boring though, personally I couldnt care less if they get married or not.

The Sun reports today that record companies are clamouring to give Nikki Sanderson (Candice) a record contract after hearing her performance on Stars In Their Eyes. They've said she "could become the next Kylie".

Yeah, just like Tracey Shaw when she released a single (which didn't even chart)!

It's being widely reported today that Keith Duffy is leaving Corrie by mutual agreement. I can't say I'll miss him. After all he's been in next to no significant storylines. The only ones I can think of are the restaurant storyline... although that was more of a Tracy thing, and the half-arsed non-marriage to Sunita. Ananova story

The Sun also reports that Danny is for the chop as well. If this is true, again I don't think it'll be any great loss. I might miss him as a bit of eye-candy, but I can't imagine him handling a major storyline with his lack of acting (and speaking) skills.

Well rumours are about the new gay character is believe it or not Jason! (Yes you heard correctly JASON GRIMSHAW). Apparantly the actor is a bit miffed about this new role instead of the tough macho guy, Sarah who is his real life girlfriend thinks its funny. I just can't believe how it would be such a contrast of character and after all that trouble he gave Todd! Now I'm thinking about the earlier report about a current character turning gay and shacking up with Sean, so draw your own conclusions.

Sorry, have no source for this story at the mo but its probably true.

It was reported in the star Sean takes jason to a hypnotist for a laff and tells him to give Jason "gay tendancies". Jason then start's trying to woo sean, buying him gift's and things and even seranading him with love song's. apparantly It all get's out of hand.

Is Keith Duffy still in it?! I won't miss him either. The restaurant story was pretty much a non-story really. Is Penny still in it or has she left Mike now? Confused

As for Warren going, great - they've seen the light there! Even the script writers were taking the micky with so many references to him not speaking clearly - a must for any actor surely.

Now for Leanne and the other Baldwin son who seem like complete spare parts in the programme - get rid of them too, please.

Despite what I feared last year, I think Bradly Walsh has settled in really well, and so has Frankie now.

It's a shame they are only just starting to show a more rounded picture of the Harris familly - just as they are about to go! But please hurry up with the departure of Kay-ee - she was shocking last night, I can't stand that character.

I'm glad that Warren and Cieran are going, the sooner Corrie gets rid of its useless characters the better.

Yes Ciaran is still in it but he has got some time off due to an injury or something.

Im glad Kayee is going too, she deserved that slap Angela gave her last night, the sooner she goes the better, and could she please take Martin with her?

As for Warren well he is good for eye candy but not a lot else.

Don't know if anybody cares, but just though I'll tell you that as part of Tony Blairs visit to Manchester, he visited the set of Coronation Street today, and has reported by ITV News, he had a pint with Les Battersby in the Rovers Return.

Is March 17th the day of Tommy's demise by any chance?

What was Dev on tonight? Manic or what!

I'm really growing to like Craig, is he for the chop too? His chacacter gives Rosie someone to play against.

Although there is a difference between a character that you arn't supposed to like because of what they do and a character that you don't like because they are just rubbish. I would say Katy is firmly in the former.
