A brilliant Corrie last night - especially Kirk explaining what an illegal sandwich was!

IMO it was boring last night, crap cliffhanger at the end of the first episode. The only bit that was good was the final scene.

END THE MONDAY DOUBLE NOW!

Just discovered an Aussie site where there are some clips from Corrie, recorded from UK-TV (a Pay-TV channel showing mainly UK shows). The clips available at the moment are from the episode where Richard confesses all to Gail!

Interesting to see that Oz get the 8.30 Monday episodes with shortened titles, just like in the UK. I wonder if the 7.30 Monday ones have proper closing credits?

I agree Jez, I thought the Kirk line about the illegal sandwich was the only good bit. What on earth was going on with wrapped up football boots? What was the point in bringing Adam back - he hardly said a thing (either that or I my brain had switched off through boredom) I presume he's due back at some point?

As for the Roy and the bully bloke plot - and then Charlie coming to the rescue again Rolling Eyes

As an aside - when it goes into the breaks and there is the shot of the back of the houses at night with some of the lights on, does someone move passed the inside of one of the windows casting a shadow? Or is it the ghost of Ivy Brennan..... Laughing

Better episode tonight, I liked the scenes with Tracy and Steve, that was a mean thing he did to her but serves her right really.

The scenes with Sally and Ian were OK tonight, the storyline seems to be moving on slowly though.

Yep; when this affair occurs, let's just hope we don't get to see them ramming their tongues down each others throats for fifteen minutes! Don't you just hate Ian's grin? It makes you cringe for Eng-- no, the World.

Oh dear it looks like we will have to see them kissing

"The mum-of-two, played by Sally Whittaker, romps with Ian Davenport (Philip Bretherton) after weeks of flirting."

I dont mind Ian at the moment but Sally has had a personality transplant in the last couple of years, but at least she isnt boring anymore.

Meanwhile I read in the spoilers that man eater Maria is to cheat on Tyrone with a footballer friend of Warren's.

Am I the only one sick of Sally or Kevin having affairs? It seems like the only kind of storyline they can come up with for them. Surely they could come up with something different for once... perhaps a shard of glass could be found in The Girls' 'chicken bits'?

No. The transformation of Sally's character over the past year has been great. I was getting bored of the whole family until she turned into a super-snob...then they go and spoil it with yet another affair. Rolling Eyes

I suppose so - Kevin had an affair with Natalie while married to Sally, and Sally had an affair with both Chris and Greg, so this is the third time she had cheated.

Kevin and Sally also had an affair with each other, the night before he married Alison. I suppose it is boring now having the same thing again. I suppose its a bit different this time as she is having an affair to keep her job to get more money for a better life. I mean Ian can hardly compare the Chris Collins in the look department.

I agree that Sally's become a great character over the past year.

Don't forget the mini-affair Sally had with the decorator just before her second wedding to Kevin.

And whilst on the subject... Chris Collins really was gorgeous wasn't he?
