-The Sally/Ian affair will make Tommy think that she's actually having an affair with Martin and this puts Katy off the baby idea. The story will culminate in a showdown where someone is murdered and two characters will be arrested (looks like confirmation for Tommy's stabbing)
-Sally will have more problems with Rosie who decides to turn goth with Craig (the pictures look amusing!)
-The Charlie/Shelley storyline will get darker and after a lot of groundwork will kick into gear in May
-Deirdre and Ken will wed and Ray Langton will return to die in a low key storyline that will bring some much needed light relief banter between Tracy and Blanche

Agreed, Suranne's acting has been top standard lately, I wouldn't be surprised if she picked up awards at next year's Soap Awards or other ceremonies. Simon Gregson is also on top form at the moment.
Yes between Karen and Mad Maya Corrie should clean up at the soapies in 2005, and we've the Charlie/Shelly storyline to come too.

I hope in terms of the ratings, Corrie wins the battle of the soaps over Christmas.
Me too but I wouldnt bet on it happening

I read on digital spy that as well as the Harris Family, Sonia, Patrick and now Dev (taking a break), some other chracters might be leaving. These include Sean, Charlie, Ciaran and Penny, but those 4 are not confirmed yet.
I'd heard about Sonia and Patrick before - not really a great loss as they've only got minor parts anyway... the same with Penny.
As for Charlie, I get the feeling that he's one of those characters like Richard Hillman or Maya who's brought in for one big, dramatic storyline only. I'd already assumed he'd go once the storyline with Shelley reaches its climax, so no surprise there.
As for Ciaran - well he doesn't really do much does he, other than provide fantasies for middle-aged women.
I'd be surprised if they got rid of Sean so quickly though as he already seems to be quite popular and fits in quite well (whether you like him or not).
Yes no great loss with Sonia, Patrick and Penny - but I do quite like Sonia and Penny as characters. Not sure about Ciaran, he can either be really annoying or OK. I agree about Charlie, he isnt the sort of character who would stay around after the conclusion of his storyline with Shelly, like Maya and Hillman.
I dont mind Sean as a character, and id be suprised if he left so soon, but these exits are unconfirmed at the moment.

Yes where did you hear that, are these CONFIRMED spoilers or guess work. You have posted stuff before which has turned out to not be true like the stuff about Corrie moving schedules.

Where did you hear all this?
I think you'll both find they are in Inside Soap. And regarding the post which said I post fake info: you shouldn't shoot the messenger, I don't spout it from my head, I post from forums/websites. Don't take anything as gospel until it's officially confirmed.

Inside Soap? I no longer read that Eastenders biased magazine.
And I only said you posted fake info because in the past I clearly remember you posting stuff that didnt happen, like the schedules being moved around.

In which case, in future it's probably best not to present the information as fact without crediting a source, or to mention a 'very reliable source' (as you have done in the past) when it's turned out to be anything but. Otherwise you might find people don't believe you even when you are 100% correct.
But anyway, take it easy and Happy Christmas!

Well I learnt a lesson last time when the source that sends me emails which generally turn out to be true proudced a fake statement.
