Coronation Street

I think it's great how you decided to post this a week and one day since said episode, we've moved on!

Now the schedules have been confirmed we know when the soaps are going to be on on ITV1.

Coronation Street is on as normal over Christmas. Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30 with an extra episode Mondays at 8.30.

As well as this there are extra episodes on Friday 24th and Friday 31st December at 8.30, and an hour long special on Saturday 25th December (Saturday sounds strange doesn't it) at 7.25.

Emmerdale on the other hand (there's no Emmerdale thread although they should be but I'll post it here anyway) actually lose an episode.

Emmerdale loses its Sunday episodes on the 19th and 26th meaning it is only on Monday to Friday at 7.00pm as normal. There is also an episode at 6.55 on Saturday 25th December.

Glad Emmerdale have dropped their Sunday episode, it wont last though. So Emmerdale is 1/2 hour on Christmas Day if it starts at 6.55pm and Corrie is on at 7.25pm? In another thread it was said it would be an hour?

Looking forward to the build up to Karen's Boxing Day exit, although its a shame she is leaving.

Loved tonight's episode, and the scenes with Wanda of course!

I practically choked to death with the thought of Wanda drinking balsamic vinegar, thinking it was the cooking sherry, never mind when she gave Ken a "present" in the shape of a cemetery plot! The last scene was a nice ending with Maria, hope she finally does try and make amends with Tyrone.

There was some great stuff in Corrie tonight! Wanda going to the loo "once a week", followed by Tracey slamming down the air freshner! Crude but funny!

Then the ever increasingly vile Sally getting even more snobby, and Kirk crying at the soppy film

They've plenty of sets to redecorate at the moment, Sally & Kevins for a start - and the Batersby's place has loads of drips and dirty runs down the walls (I presume from the ceiling being re-plastered?) although I suppose it'll be a while before they get around to decorating!

Yeah, what has happened to Sally? Why is she so flamin snobby? Has she been watching too much Keeping Up Appearances ?

To be honest, I think Coronation Street is stupid at times! I mean, this Wanda character doesn't even look real

The best line was Blanche asking, "Do I look like a moose?" An absolute classic. Another brilliant episode from Jonathan Harvey, with lots of great references- even a nod to the Catherine Tate show.

Finally, Ive been waiting for it to become available on Amazon, but now it's exclusive to woolies, and cheaper, I can't wait to order it.

According to today's Star Mike Baldwin's son Adam has been given the Nick Tilsley treatment. The boy who originally played him was given the chance to re-audition for the part, but it eventually was given to a dark haired "pretty boy" with no previous acting experience Adam returns to become apart of the Baldwin dynasty, and will become Sarah Platts's boyfriend

Now when I raised this before about Ken & Deirdre only having a two-up two-down house, one bedroom upstairs being Ken & Deirdre's, the other being Blanche's, leaving the front room downstairs for Tracy & Amy, I was told Liz must have slept on the floor.
OK. So Liz has gone with her bit of floor! Now are you telling me Wanda is sleeping on the floor too? I think not! But I didn't see her move in her bed. Did you? So I've come to the only conclusion there is left...
Wanda must be sharing a bed with Blanche!!!!
