Anyone got any info on what ratings last night Corrie got?

The provisional TV Guides for Christmas are reporting we will have a double bill of Corrie at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Christmas Eve, and a 1 hour episode on Christmas Day as usual. Also at the moment it looks like EE and Coro St will go head to head on Xmas Day.

Also over on digital spy some spoilers have been reported, its apparently been confirmed now that Sally Webster will have an affair with Ian Davenport. And Ken will propose to Deirdre but their wedding will be interupted by the return of Ray Langton, who was last seen in Weatherfield in 1978 when Tracy was just a baby. I think Deirdre should marry Ray again rather than Ken, the surname Langton always suited Deirdre more than Rachid and Barlow.

The special extra episode of Coronation Street attracted 11 million viewers - a 49% audience share - between 10pm and 10.30pm.

Coronation Street was comfortably the most popular show in that slot, followed by BBC1's Ten O'Clock News, which attracted 4.4 million viewers.

It wouldn't surprise me if Emmerdale or Corrie went head to head with EastEnders this year. I think Emmerdale clashed with it last year as well.

enders may have something like the nailbar exploding becouse of no business! and emmerdale might have a tree being planted, all in time for christmas!!

How many affairs is that now in Sally and Kevin's marriage? How unimaginative and tedious.

(Well according to Richard Arnold yesterday she isn't.

Corrie and Eastenders are going head to head, well it's about time, and I know which one I'll be watching, and Corrie have an advantage, it starts at 8pm and lasts for an hour, whilst EE's second ep of the night, will not start till 8.25pm, so i guess most viewers will just stick with Corrie, seeing as the storylines are much better than EE this year. It was the other way round last year, if I remember correctly. Anyway, can't wait.

Well the article which implied there would be a death in Corrie (Maya) this week was wrong, unless she dies in a few episodes time, they did say in tonights episode its touch and go if she will survive.

Anyway I have a copy of last years Christmas TV guide and the soaps were as follows on Xmas Day.

6.00-6.40 Eastenders
6.40-7.40 Emmerdale
7.40-8.40 Coronation Street
8.40-9.20 Eastenders

So no clashes between them last year, but notice an hour of Corrie and Emmerdale but in total 1 hour 20 mins of Deadenders. Wouldnt suprise me if the provisional guides were incorrect this year and they dont clash when the proper guides come out.

(Before I start I know this is the stuff of anoraks), but, Did anyone notice on the 7.30 ep tonight notice Norris' glasses changing within a few minutes????

Of course, I'm surprised that didn't hit the cover of our TV Magzines!

Its been reported that Adam Barlow is returning to the show , its not been confirmed but suggested that another actor will take over the role.

This could be good for storylines for the Barlow and Baldwin familes.

Yeah he's supposed to be getting the Nick Tilsley treatment and come back superb looking and older.
He's apparently going to be dating Sarah Lou.
