Indeed, how did they manage to get that huge truck down the side of Viaduct Street and so fast. For those of you that know the layout of Granada Studios, there's only a few feet to the edge of the set. Maybe they knocked a few walls down and started the truck actually outside the Granada reception or at least in the cast car park.

Lisa's death was the climax of a storyline in which heavy traffic was short-cutting down Coronation Street because of roadworks on an adjacent road.
It must have been quite hard work getting all the traffic into those exterior scenes because, as those of you who have seen it will know, the set is small and there is not much more roadway other than that which you see.

There's enough room to drive a truck onto that street, but it's quite a steep incline up from the Stage One car park.

Unlikely, as we'd already seen him arrive back.

Yes I expected that too, I was really suprised by the ending, it also looks like it overan and the news started late.
When it comes to best dramatic moment in next year's Soap Awards, they might as well not even bother with a shortlist!
They deserve Best Exit, Best Storyline, Best Dramatic Performance, Villan of the year, most Spectacular scene and BEST SOAP for this storyline ALONE!

I half expected it to end tonight with just the fire in a sort of 'will anyone find them in time' type cliffhanger.

That was absolutely first class tonight, not long got off the phone to my mum (it has been a very long time since we had to ring each other at the end of an episode of Corrie!).
I really didn't expect Maya to get finished off tonight! I just loved the bit when she popped back up - really Hammer House of Horror stuff! And the bit with Liz lighting her ciggie was spot on. It was a far better and more suprising end to the story than the richard Hillman one - that was an all-time Corrie Classic we've all seen tonight - even beating Alan Bradley's incident with a Blackpool tram!
And with all the excellent sub-plots and storys too - fantastic!

The street where the lorry came from is called Viaduct Street in the show.
Yes I think they would have had to have started the truck at least from the gates by the car park.
