I remember seeing this attitude with Curly throwing the CD player out the window on the original broadcast, and Les's "one CD player, Curly damaged" comment. I'm feeling really old.

Still hard to believe Toyah and Leanne are the same characters, they're like completely different people now to the rough, abusive, rowdy chavs they were back then.

Scene tonight with David and Nick together on the bench, are they doing an EastEnders-esque split screen?

They are certainly doing more scenes like that - there was another similar one this week between Asha and Nina (as they were about to kiss).

Definitely the right thing to do, EastEnders are putting them to shame a little bit...

Though going back to 6 times a week makes it harder for them to do much of it because it takes more time to film, which EastEnders have accounted for by shortening the length of episodes. If Corrie had stayed at 3 episodes a week, or even 4, they'd be able to do more of this.

Two characters fighting over a house auction then someone else steps in at the last minute- Brookside did that story back in the 90s!

It was amusing though with Tracey spending Steve’s flippin’ money

Shame Dion Dublin didn’t turn up to look around the property first

I doubt they would have a former Man Utd player on the cobbles, when they think the only local footie club is Weatherfield County!

Reminds me of a storyline back in the 90s where a couple of the characters were taking Jamie Armstrong to see a football match and he was all hyped up thinking it was Manchester United... then gutted to find out it was only Wetherfield County.

Weatherfield County has the one and only Tommy Orpington though!

The fact the last minute buyer turned out to be Gail, who'd got the money from Ted's estate, was also something I saw coming.
