Someone had to. One of these days ITV is going to have another really good sitcom. K&K had its amusing moments but it didn't really come together.
You watched Kate & Koji?

Also I've seen various articles in recent weeks with various cast members saying Corrie will run out of episodes soon. The latest one is saying Corrie could go off air for the first time in 60 years - if that happened it would be incorrect as we know Corrie was off air in 1979 for several months. If they run out of episodes then they run out. If they aren't able to return to filming in June then id imagine they would reduce to 2 episodes a week to keep it going a bit longer.
The press are doing what they usually do, latching on to half a sentence and then running a story on it.
Like you say, if they run out, they will run out, if they don't then they won't
Yes they always do that and it annoys me especially when half the time there are errors. Like not saying Corrie went off air for (3 months?) in 1979.
Corrie's gone off a few times over its history. 1979 is the last time, but it happened before that. Went off for a few weeks in 1970 (and the actor who played Jack Walker died suddenly during that strike). Went off for a week in 1964 too (and with that one, strangely, they never made the episodes that were meant to be made during the strike, they just skipped the story ahead, which meant we never saw the Ogdens moving in- we saw them buying the house, then them settled, the moving in episode was one of the two that got cancelled). Didn't go off during the 1968 strike though, they had enough during the can to keep it going (also helped that a technical fault during the climax of a storyline in one episode led to that episode being repeated when they next one ws due to be shown, which extended the stockpile further).

We're up to early June 1995, and she left in late October, so probably in early June. We still have Alec's brief return to come before then (until he returns full time in 1996).
How long until we get to Bets final episode?

I'd be very interested to see Episode 3604 (October 8th, 1993), Jenny Bradley's departure from the soap, until she returned in 2015, especially with the storyline surrounding the death of her father, Alan, in late 1989-early 1990.

An episode got completely blacked out two weeks earlier as well.

A 30 minute strike at Granada that just happened to "co-incide" with the broadcast of Coronation Street.

This is something they quite frequently do with EastEnders, trailing specific episodes with "Tuesday 7.30" at the end or whatever, even when there are other episodes before then. I never like this, you may as well say "Don't bother with any of the other episodes this week, nothing important happens". They should say "Next Week" if anything.
They also managed to keep going during the Equity strike in 1961 that otherwise crippled ITV's drama production for five months, albeit they could only use people on a long-term contract as they couldn't sign any new ones, and indeed some characters disappeared during the strike as their contracts had expired and couldn't be renewed. So they continued for five months with a cast of fourteen and no supporting cast at all. Child actors were excempt and at one point Granada started using children to replace the usual extras, until Equity complained.
No, the storyline depicted comes to a head from Monday, so its right.

We all know EastEnders only air important episodes on Christmas Day and February 19th.
