I'm sure you post something similar every week.

Actually, all I have done is commented over a few months about what I've perceived as the demise of the format, which has now led me to make the decision to stop watching this programme after more than 20 years.

I have explained that I have progressively become bored with the repetitive nature of soaps 'continuing dramas' and I don't think I am alone in that belief. Corrie is just the latest one that has disinterested me to this extent.

At least I can find some enjoyment in the classic episodes.

Looks like someone cocked up with the encoding of the episode, it had been pillarboxed twice, if you know what I mean. When they corrected it, on both of today's episodes the ITV3 DOG was within the pillar rather than within the 4:3 frame, apparently today's episodes were pillarboxed on ITV3 SD too, which they normally aren't.

Today's episodes were the first appearance of the blue stripe Granada endcap too.
