well on the one hand im glad its not my tv and on the other im annoyed coz they all look like robots now. should have seen deirdre putting the phone down after talkin to our tracy. the phone looked like it was a projected hologram! its awful! also when kevin and martin were crossing the road going to the garage the camera was tracking them and they looked robotic. i think its FRV coz its similar to the look of Parkinson when they used it. its horrible i thought tv companies had stopped using it because it looks awful. sure the colours may be deeper but it spoils the enjoyment of the show for me and i imagine several others. well, that and gail platt!

Ive been catching up with some of the Corrie ive missed while away and it was really good last week - I agree Gail was definately force 8 when she was at the hospital with Sarah.

And the scene where Hayley slapped Tracey was great! Cant wait for tonights episodes, i'll have seen 7 episodes today after watching the 2 on tonight. Very Happy

Now thats what I call a Great Day. Corrie, Corrie and More Corrie!

Tonights double looks good, but I have to say, the 8:45 start is a bit Pants! That means other programs I want to watch at 9, I will have missed the first 15 minutes!! ITV1 have rubbish on after Corrie, so no chance of staying with them!

Nigel Pivaro (Terry Duckworth) is apparently returning to the Street this autumn. Apparently he will be come an item with Tracey, and there are plans to turn the two of them into Weatherfields versions of Bonnie & Clyde.

Ive always liked the character of Terry so im glad to hear he is returning!

LOL Did anyone think it was funny in tonight episode when Gail said "Ive never let here (Bethany) play with loose wiring in this house - and Audrey responded "no just a murderer"

Also I think it was Gail force 6 at least tonight when she told Peter off in the pub - cant wait for the next episode, im going to take a guess and say I think Roy will survive Razz

Yes, it's odd to see a programme starting at 8:45, I don't know why they didn't just book another act for the Des O'Conner show and pad it out until an hour.

They must have their reasons. Also notice there isn't any junctions on BBC1 to mess up anyway as they are showing a long period of Athletics, there isn't even an episode of EastEnders

I think the reason for the 8.45 start of the 2nd Corrie episode is because of the film/drama Alibi which starts at 9.15 - If it has started at 9.30pm the News wouldnt be until 11pm and the film would be late starting so obviously they have scheduled Des O Connor for 45 mins as its convenient for them due to the other progs for tonight.

Well according to Digiguide:

ENTERTAINMENT: Des O'Connor Comedy Tonight
Duration: 45 minutes.
Des O'Connor celebrates the best of current British comedy, with guests Jon Culshaw, Jim Tavare, Hudson and Pepperdine, Jimmy Carr, Men in Coats and special guest Ronnie Corbett.

Half of those guests didn't appear did they?

Slightly off topic I know, but not really worth starting a new one, anyone noticed the new Emmerdale trailer featuring Cain, Charity & Chris. It's a bit like the Corrie trailers they had for the big Richard Hillman story and the "Coronation Street Heat" trails. It ends with "Must/Lust see TV" Very good indeed.

Also, I can't believe Chris Tate is finally leaving Emmerdale, he's been in it for years, in the story he has a terminal brain tumour.

I was looking at an online tv guide and they are showing a special program of Corrie Exits on 7th September

"Archive compilation taking a look back at some of the Street's greatest exits. Featuring Curly's recent departure, Richard Hillman's demise and Alma's final farewell, this entertaining romp through 40 years of the Corrie archive includes interviews with all the main players including Kevin Kennedy, Amanda Barrie and Brian Capron."
