That's gonna look amazing on screen, surely this has to be soaps biggest stunt?

Definitely the biggest soap stunt since the Emmerdale plane crash in 1993, masterminded by (IIRC) Phil Redmond.

(I wonder how the Corrie tram crash would be staged if Phil Redmond was in charge . . . ?)

God looks really good and that's just from the pic's - with all the Special Effects it should look even better! Can't wait to see it!

Like others have said it has to be one of, if not the biggest stunt for a soap. There've all done fires etc. but not a tram crash before. Only Emmerdale has come close with the Plane Crash & Show-house collapse. But it's 15+ years since the Plance Crash so obvioulsy there's better Special effects.

I hope this mornings gas explosion in Salford doesn't put the kibosh on this Corrie stunt...

(although my greater hope is that all those people are safe and well)

I'd be sceptical about all that. It is The Sun and the producers have said fake storylines are to be released to the public.

Yeah I saw that too. To be fair The Sun aren't to bad with soaps, beeter than some of the others, although as you say there may be fake storylines.
