Apparently the Corrie 50th magazine should have gone on sale now in WHSmith & Sainsburys. Anyone got one ?

I got it last week in Manchester - it was priced at £2.50. Its quite good.

I went to watch Countdown being filmed today so I took this piccie before I went into Granada Studios, and that's the best view I could get, but I couldn't help but notice some people hanging round the gates.

Jack dies on Monday 8th November... at a guess, i'd say the tribute programme will air at 8pm, or whenever the funeral is

Edit: It is due to air Wednesday that week apparently

IIRC ... I do believe it was 21 years ago this week, ITV started broadcasting episodes of Corrie on Friday evenings.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the first one was on Friday 20th October 1989 at 7:30pm.

Why didn't they kill Jack off in the tram crash? Surely that would have made a huge impact.

I think it's because it would have kinda have a big character like Jack killed off in something like that, he's always been one of the "down to earth" characters

Yeh, Jack deserves a proper send off in his own right, not just part of the tram crash.

To be honest, don't think much of the Corrie episodes this week. This Graham / David crash thing has been really contrived.

According to wiki it was, the height of the Rita and Alan Bradley story, either when he tried to kill her or himself getting hit by the Blackpool tram...
