Is it me or does that tram not look like a seies 1000 Manchester tram. It seems too blocky. even the doors look wrong!

It looks quite like a 1000 series to me (windows & doors are 1000 series like), but painted in the colours of a 3000 series (this shot on the MEN website you can see the yellow dots: Crunch time for the Kabin: First pictures of the tram bringing carnage to Coronation Street)

Thanks. It's a nice alternative view.

I was outside the Granada Studios yesterday and saw pretty much the same as in that photo - they have blocked the enterance up to the set so you cant see very much, but could see the top of the tram!

Just a reminder that Bill Tarmey aka Jack Duckworth is on the One Show tonight!

Plus another view - shows the other carriage a lot better.

I have to ask WHAT ON EARTH is wrong with corrie?

The picture looks shocking, I looked at other channels there nothing wrong there, Its like pictures are slowing down, not as fast as it should be, its rather hard to describe,

How are you watching? I am recording it so I will be watching later but I just had a look and the 10 seconds that I saw looked okay on ITV1 Meridian DSAT.

Well, here's someone's idea of how it could happen (if you ignore the fact that it looks like two trams, so you need to think as one tram as one carriage of a real tram): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnKnoC8DTb4

Not convinced by it though. Maybe they're going to remove more brickwork before they start filming, seeing as in the pictures posted it seems they are still making the tram look like a tram.
