As the tram left the left hand side of the screen, it jumped back into frame so you saw the trailing driving cab twice!

I'm wondering if we should blame ITV1 for that rather than ITV Studios.

I blame TG Media myself..

I think this is the only very tenuous link that TG Media has with Coronation Street, unless Mr. Steddenm can tell us differently.

Corrie used to be filmed 4-6 weeks ahead but more recently its been around 8-10 weeks! It does depend on the storyline tho with everything filmed out of sequence.

If you watch the last scene in slow motion you can see that while the taxi, Nick and everything else on screen moves smoothly, the tram jumps several pixels each frame.

the whole scene jumps back, watch the man crossing behind the taxi, he just gets behind it then jumps back, goes behind it to the pavement and jumps back behind It again

I think they will cover the end of the street and use CGI for the live episode as it's easier to do that for one episode than several months of episodes

lets hope google earth aren't over head taking photos Shocked

On the ITV Player the tram just looks to go across, theres no jump, so it could have been ITV1's fault

Would you pay for two endings?

Yes, but as David says, the tram still looks 'juddery', even watching at normal speed, and it's obvious it's been CGI'd onto the picture. Still, practice makes perfect!

Thi pic was on the Corrie site - intresting to see what the Joinery sort of locks like.

Aswell as this video on the street party, which is worth a watch.

How long ago was the cast photo then, because The Joinery doesn't actually exist on that.

The 5 (tram crash) anniversary episodes are apparently taking 10 weeks to film, whereas they would ordinarily film 5 episodes in 12 days.

I would take the press statements about the tram crash with a pinch of salt.

They exaggerated the Carla/Tony factory siege storyline. Corrie (and all of the soaps) always play this game to gain maximum attention.

I find 1 million hard to believe.

I think we saw the 'rape' scene that the press have been talking about last night.

They said they spent £1m on the siege, but I can believe £1m for the tram crash due to the scale of it
