So what did every one think of tonights episode's?
I though some parts were really good! One of the best episode in ages!
Phil Collinson seems to really improving the standard of episodes since he came to the helm!
Seemed a bit different to normal episode. Good humour. The only bit that I though was a little silly was Hayley and Co. on the pump wagon thing. But I suppose it was there for comical value , mabye just a bit to slapstick for Corrie.

Tonights eppy was the best in ages, I live in Bury and used to go on the East Lans railway a lot when I was younger, to see it on TV was fantastic, and the pump wagon thing had me in fits!
And me and my grandad got to play 'where's that?' game! does anyone know where to wedding took place?

Excellent set of episodes tonight, I bet the cast enjoyed filming it just as much as we enjoyed watching it.
On a separate note, I've found Chesney surplus to requirements over the last few years and he would have been on the axe list, but recently I think he's got better again and his dry humour is quite a good foil to Fiz & John.
Kirk is still a bit surplus though.
It was nice to see John happy as well as I thought he was going down the same road as Joe McIntyre.

Yeah I agree that Chesney has improved/ been given better storylines lately. I think the last couple of years his been given the sterotypical "moody teenager" role. But in the last 3/4 months or so, a more comical role.
Kirk I agree on too. His character has been stale for ages.
Yeah it was nice to see all the cast together on the bus/train as you don't often see so many of them interacting with eachother, outside their "groups".
I see this Graeme Harper is also from Doctor Who - do you know whether his going to be a permanent director?

Just came across this on DS and thought it might interest some.
Warning some might say slight spoliers.

ITV soap Coronation Street has today released two new promotional pictures featuring the cast members who will take centre stage in the show's autumn storylines.
The glamorous Vanity Fair-style shots see ten of the programme's key stars posing together as viewers await a period of intense drama that lies ahead for their characters.
Ben Price (Nick Tilsley), Chris Gascoyne (Peter Barlow), Graeme Hawley (John Stape), Keith Duffy (Ciaran McCarthy) and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) are the male stars who appear in the photos.
Meanwhile, actresses Alison King (Carla Connor), Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby), Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape), Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald) and Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) also feature.
In the coming months, viewers will see John Stape continuing to keep wife Fiz in the dark over the fate of Colin Fishwick. However, as the situation continues to spiral out of control and one death leads to another, how long can John keep his secret hidden?
Meanwhile, as Nick and Leanne's chemistry becomes increasingly apparent, will they be able to resist temptation? And what's to come for their respective romances with Natasha and Peter?
Elsewhere, when Carla starts to become reliant on alcohol to ease her pain, she finds herself becoming closer to Peter. Will she start to see the Weatherfield bookmaker in a new light?
Coming up for the McDonalds, as Becky begins to show just how far she will go to get the child she craves, what will the consequences be for her marriage to Steve?
And when Michelle finally decides to let go of her reservations and make a go of things with Ciaran, is it happily ever after or is there heartbreak ahead?

Show producer Phil Collinson commented: "Coronation Street has the ability to move with the times whilst retaining a unique sense of Northern humour, pathos, tragedy, conflict and drama. Fascinating characters and superb scriptwriting lie at the heart of Coronation Street's appeal and are the reason audiences have continued to watch in their millions.
"I have never worked on a show where the audience is so passionately involved in the lives of the characters on screen - and that brings with it a huge responsibility to make sure we keep their stories truthful and compelling."
Beyond the autumn season, many of the characters featured in the photoshoot will be affected by the soap's upcoming tram crash stunt, which is to air in Corrie's 50th anniversary week in December.
