Not my favourite storyline this Steve and Becky one.

...not mine either! As a result, most of last night's two episodes passed as a blur. Confused

Thanks, I noticed I hadn't put foundations on Underworld until just after I completed it though lol

Watching the Becky and Kylie interview on this Morning, I noticed the railing on the Rovers viaduct has been replaced and brightened up

The DVD's sets look great - I like Corrie's 50th anniversary logo.

Is the The Stars of Coronation Street - 50 Years, 50 Classic Characters also going to be included in the other DVD release - that one is more expensive but I will prob get that one if it incorporates both releases.

I was wondering the same thing. I had another check on Amazon and it does seem that the "Stars" collection will indeed be incorporated in the more expensive box set.

For a split second you can see the viaduct that they're not supposed to show (Viaduct Street) Very Happy

EDIT: Also from the webchat!

Comment From Chewy
Are you both excited for the 50th?

Sacha Parkinson:
@Chewy We are really excited about the 50th. The tram crash is something different, and there will be lots of things we have never done on Corrie

Brooke Vincent:
@Chewy As well as it being the 50th its also the start of a new generation of how they film things. These past 5 years the way that we handle issues is changing and developing

Hopefully it will be then I can just purchase the one set! Its going to be an expensive time for Corrie fans with all the books etc they are releasing!

Btw I saw the Stage Show on Saturday and it was amazing. So funny. The 5 actors did well to play so many different characters between them - was particularly impressed with Elsie, Raquel and Deirdre - they were spot on. Hilda, Ken, Peter, Jack and Vera were really good too. There was no Betty, Sally/Kevin, Jim/Liz (although the guy who played Jim was the narrator so he was) but I guess having to fit 50 years into 2 hours everyone couldnt be included.

Id recommend the show to all Corrie fans - im not sure if its still on because the 21st was meant to be the last day but I heard they have extended it??

I noticed that too, the camera did a very bad pan round to Gails, probably realised they weren't mean to film that bit and went too far round ending up looking at the Websters

Graham (Stape) said they are just getting ready to film it so there wasn't much to see, doubt they'll be doing any live interviews from the set in the next few weeks as the set will change completely at that end, my guess is they will demolish the kabin / flat 12 and rebuild so it's not so easy to see the end of the set

they can't really demolish the corner shop as it will affect the structual integrity of the whole terrace which is in effect one long building

looking at my old pics of the set from 1991 websters garage look like it was meant to be a loading bay for the factory

really exciting to see how it all pans out Very Happy

There's a set tour for some Canadian's on the 30th, so I'm guessing after that is when it will all really get underway

I can't wait for the episodes to be shown on TV and the street changing a bit, it's looks pretty much the same for quite a long time now

It will be intresting to see what happens!

Also just thought I'd get this in early - there's a special 1 hour episode on Sunday 5 September 2010 19:00 – 20:00. According to the programme blurb I think this is when Ken's "secret" comes out.

BBC One have apparently scheduled the EE fire episode to be 40 minutes long, so it will clash with Corrie on 10th Sept Rolling Eyes

Looking forward to the hour long Smile
