I must say I'm loving the variety of new break bumpers tonight, there's talk of them earlier on but there's been a new one nearly every half tonight!

I like the Streetcars one Very Happy and the viaduct street one

The pacing of the show has improved massively, and I love how each week seems to follow a new main story and rests another

I saw in Inside Soap today that the letter at No. 3 which was sent to Ken is going to be found by Emily and Norris in September. The article said that the letter was from Ken's first girlfriend Susan Cunnimgham (who was in the first episode when Ken's dad was mending a bike in front of the fire). It seems that Susan was the mother of Ken's secret son. Although I'm not a regular viewer, this sounds like it will be a great storyline, especially as I have always liked Ken's character.

This was in Soaplife as well. It's a shame that they have killed Susan off tho - it would have been great to bring back an original Corrie character for the 50th even tho she wasn't in it very long. Sounds like a good storyline tho and im pleased they remember the Barlow's used to live at Number 3 in the early days not Number 1.

That's what I like about Corrie, they remember the little things and bring them to prominence.

I agree. At first I was hesitant of the whole "Ken's long-lost sons come out of the woodwork" storyline, it sounded too sensationalist and far-fetched, but linking it in to Susan Cunningham is quite a clever thing to do (more so in the 50th anniversary year). I'm looking forward to it - if of course it's true! But did they actually kill Susan off? I thought she just disappeared, never to be mentioned again?

You have to admire the EE fans on Digital Spy, when EE is ahead in ratings that means "Corrie is in crisis!?!?!11!!!" when Corrie is solidly ahead for a whole week including it's under performing Thursday episode, they moan about it and call Corrie "dire" (for the 1000 time) Laughing

Anywho, I'm loving the massive secrecy around Natasha's exit,
Sharon Marshall said it isn't suicide after all

Susan wasnt killed off - as far as I know her relationship with Ken ended and she wasnt seen again. I agree it's a good storyline for the 50th.
