It sounds like a good storyline and, as I posted on the last page, harks back to the 1960s in some way. Will be interesting to see if it does go ahead.
Going back to Sean for a minute: he was relatively funny when introduced (was it really as long ago as 2004?) but I'm also extremely tired of the character now. It'd be nice to see a new gay character introduced to the show - preferably one who isn't a stereotype.
I just thought I'd post a little bit more about the as yet untitled BBC Four drama about the origins of Corrie. I believe filming began last week. Some surprising and interesting casting: Jessie Wallace will be playing Pat Phoenix, Lynda Baron will be Violet Carson, Celia Imrie will be Doris Speed, James Roache will be playing William Roache, and David Dawson will be playing creator Tony Warren, to mention just five of the notable names. Take a look at this news article from Digital Spy in which you can see Jessie as Pat and Celia as Doris. Here is the press release from the BBC, which gives some more details about casting, etc.
I don't know about anybody else, but I'm looking forward to watching it!

I not sure whether to keep using spoliers as some people are and some people aren't.
People talking about the 60's crash thought this photo was woth posting as it was on a story about the current new storyline.

Apparently "The Mill" are behind the visual effects for this,
Julia Parsons?
Sorry, bad joke...

Sean isn't a stereotype, he's just himself.
But I never found him funny or a good actor.
