why is sean suddenly interested in his son two years later when for one episode after Violet had left he was moping about with a face like a wet weekend saying "I miss Dylon."
then suddenly completly forgot he existed
he didn't exacty get onto the CPS about father's visitiation rights did he
like all soap babies Dylan has probably regenerated into another child by now so sean won't recognise him anyway
I think Jonathan Harvey has started to go a bit over the top, there were about half a dozen scenes of people singing or dancing the other night. The scene with Deirdre half singing was cringeworthy.
Plus Sean seems to have come back 10 times more annoying than normal. Surely nobody camps it up as much as he does, in real life?
I have my doubts about whether that storyline is finally happening - it's been doing the rounds for many, many years now - but the article includes some speech from Phil Collinson about it. Do we think these are real quotes or... erm... "real quotes"?
EDIT: some web trawling reveals that Collinson himself "revealed" the storyline in a This Morning interview earlier today. So, I assume it is actually happening. But let's not forget that the exact same incident happened in the exact same place in the late 1960s.
He revealed it on This Morning - moments after saying how he didn't like plots to be revealed and would be planting numerous fake stories in the run up to the shows 50th.
Also confirmed no ex-characters will return for the 50th anniversary. (Anyone who can get ITV Player to work who may be interested - he was on This Morning around midday).
