Yes, it's happened a few times recently. It was just as unreadable in HD.

I noticed that they'd removed the HD part of the DOG, but its still there on ITV2/3/4.

I think ITV add that text on themselves during play-out - as STV never has that caption.

I've seen it go wrong on Emmerdale on a Thursday as well, so that would make sense.

"Continues In Half An Hour" text was screwed up again at the end of tonight's first Corrie. Seems remarkable to me that they'd leave it unfixed for this long, I must say!

I saw it too, it was horrible, you know what it said but that's because you're used to it. Surely it would just be easier for it to added in editing (isn't it added because of the omnibus, I'm sure it just says 'continues next' or something (?), but they can easily take it off) but is it even needed in these days, I record everything i want to watch nowadays anyway, so if I miss it we can watch the recordings

Perhaps on the broadcast quality equipment they use it looks fine?

May well be something in that - I daresay it looks fine in the edit suite, it's probably the encoding and compression that's screwing it up
