I dont like the sound of it either but I think David could be driven mad enough with jealousy to end up doing that possibly??? It would be a dark storyline for them to cover for sure and I think Tina has already been through enough depressing storylines.

It's annoying when they do one depressing storyline after another for a certain character. Like how many husbands has Gail had that have been killed - 3 isn't it. Although I know it's a soap - it starts to get a little repetative after a while. It would be nice for Tina to have at least a year of fairly happy stories before a depressing one!

Talking of Graeme, just watching the News - i'm sure the close up they just showed was Craig Gazey at the England game screaming screaming at the disallowed goal! Laughing

I think you might be right, but nobody at ITV News seems to have noticed.

When they showed the shot of him, they mention something along the lines of the fact that "the fans were..."
but didn't mention something like "corrie actor ....

I hope that is just normal Sunday tabloid rubbish. If David raped Tina, he would have to leave the street which would be a big loss to the show.

Depends how the storyline - if it is even a storyline - plays out - whether charges are pressed, etc.

But eventually, as in every soap, the truth comes out - so he'd have to be charged ( that's if the stories even true)

Even if a character 'gets away with it', and is never charged or convicted, then the damage is done. It's effectively the start of an exit storyline, however protracted that may be!

It is possible to make it obvious that the character is innocent: thereby saving them in the eyes of the viewers. However, I'm not sure it's reasonable to try another 'falsely accused' plot for the Platt/McIntyre family!

Kevin still doesn't know that Sally had an affair with Davenport. Wasn't that around six years ago now? Maybe more...

I seem to recall Rosie finding out and persuading her mum to end it.

Im sure that Kevin did find out as well. Sally and Kevin are as bad as each other when it comes to affairs. They even had an affair/one night stand with each other when Kevin was about to marry Alison!

Reports: Character to be killed off at Christmas! The Sun ( i know) has revealed...
CORRIE adulteress Molly Dobbs is to be KILLED OFF in a major Christmas storyline, we can reveal.

The character, played by Vicky Binns, is pregnant after betraying hubby Tyrone with mechanic Kevin Webster.

And TV Biz has learned that the dramatic exit will leave Kev's wife Sally holding the baby as the couple take in the child after Molly's death.

Scriptwriters have come up with the plotline to keep viewers hooked on the love triangle, even though actress Vicky is leaving.

The soap's new executive producer Phil Collinson first revealed there would be a death on Corrie's official website.

He wrote: "I don't want to give too much away, but there's going to be a dead body on Coronation Street.

"It's going to be a death that will affect a couple of our most significant characters in a way that will hopefully be really surprising and exciting.

"It's the beginning of a story that's going to take us across the next year."

Vicky, 27, joined Coronation Street in 2005 as Molly Compton, the daughter of local baker Diggory.

The character arrived intent on revenge against her former classmate, Fiz Brown, played by Vicky's off-screen pal Jennie McAlpine, 26.

Molly married Tyrone Dobbs in January last year, but began an affair with his garage boss Kevin just months later.

The pair planned to leave their spouses on Christmas Day, but Kevin had a change of heart after Sally told him she had breast cancer.

Molly left Tyrone, then found out she was pregant weeks later.

Unsure about who was the father and facing life as a single mum, she went back to her unsuspecting husband.

Collinson added: "This storyline has been central to the drama of the show for a year now and I hope that the many different twists and turns we have planned will keep the fans on the edge of their seats for months to come."

Yes quite right, my apologies. Well given David's past misdeeds, it wouldn't surprise me... hope it is tabloid speculation though.
