I think dragging the radiator along was a bit stupid.. Gail's house would be flooded for starters! Laughing

Having just done abit of radiator maintenance in my own home, that was my first thought too! Rolling Eyes

As an aside...did anyone else think it's rather sad and dated to show male characters being possessive about their previous female partners?

The sight of David and Jason portraying themselves as 'neanderthal-type sub-humans, beating their chests' wasn't very comical or credible! It's actually very sad! Is this how ITV think their audience would behave?

I've never had any ill-feeling towards a former partner's new partner; and even if I did: I would probably keep them to myself for fear of appearing a total idiot by expressing them!

Well Jason is a neanderthal type man, and with David, if you had a girlfriend who split up with you, tried to get your mum sent down for murder and then jumped into bed with your best friend, I'm sure he does have a point!

The scenes with the radiator in the street were a bit daft but the rest of it was good. David and Grahame are consistantly good value.

..

unfortunatly some men do, had some neaderthol act like that with me when I spoke to his ex Rolling Eyes

apparently that was exactly the reason she was his ex, he was so insecure and possessive she couldn't talk to any men Confused

maybe David and Jason have insecurity issues

Jason's issue I would say is he believes it was going on whilst he was still either with Tina or when he was giving her some space (only for her to shack up with someone else). Both not true but I suppose that's what he thinks.

And David is just nuts. His issue is mainly being his best mate going out with the girl he really still loves. Worth shouting and causing a scene though? No.

The new Coro producer revealed a shocking storyline about David in NOTW today..

David gets so cut up about Tina and Graeme he ends up raping someone, it's strongly implied that it will be Tina. On a much lighter note, Graeme takes Tina out on a surprise rickshaw ride this week!

Talking of Graeme, just watching the News - i'm sure the close up they just showed was Craig Gazey at the England game screaming screaming at the disallowed goal! Laughing

Don't like the sound of that.

I hope the new producer doesn't intend making the show more 'gritty'.

I hope that is just normal Sunday tabloid rubbish. If David raped Tina, he would have to leave the street which would be a big loss to the show.

David along with the likes of Grahame should be set to become the next generation of the Steve McDonald type character.

I dont like the sound of it either but I think David could be driven mad enough with jealousy to end up doing that possibly??? It would be a dark storyline for them to cover for sure and I think Tina has already been through enough depressing storylines.
