Does anyone have any caps of how Cluur and Ashley Peacock's stairs changed? I don't think I remember

Is it that the stairs completely moved or has the camera positions not just simply been moved around and stairs on left instead of behind - hard to base it on the big pic which you just see glimpse of stairs.

Brain is hazy!

It's both. The cameras now look towards the front door whereas they used to look towards the back of the house - but the stairs used to be opposite the front door and now they are adjacent.

I guess it sort of makes a bit more sense having the stairs where they are now, as both other houses on that side of the street (Platts' and Windasses') also have the stairs next to the front door. Although that doesn't seem like a strong enough reason to have moved them.

I wonder if there was a technical reason for moving them - maybe the new configuration made it easier to hide actors at the top of the stairs when they're about to come down or have just gone up.

In Emmerdale they moved the stairs in Debbie Dingles house. Not as wild as they did in the Peacock's house but they just moved them so they were facing the opposite direction but still in the same position. Viewers noticed and commented about it on Twitter causing the Emmerdale production team to respond by saying it was for 'production issues'

It seems from both images that there will be some sort of shop - I see a window display - to be fair could be a row of shops. Wonder if these shops will become everyday in the sense that the Kabin, Dev's, Barlow's Buys etc are?

Hopefully... I'm sure I read something about some new shops..

I'd like to see a Banksy, an aggressive beggar and an independent shoe shop.

That red and yellow shop kind of reminds me of Roys Rolls. I wonder if the new street could perhaps be where Roys and the Kabin used to be?

Yeah does look like Roys but I don't get what you mean when you say used to be?

Before the opposite side of the street was built when the factory stood there, The Kabin and The Café were in Rosamond Street. Rita moved to the new Kabin when the shop was built in the 1990s. I can't remember why the The Café (now Roys Rolls) moved, but I am sure that someone on here will know.
