Confirmed on Digital Spy a very slight tweak to the opening titles from Monday.
The update to the opening sequence is only minor but reflects the changes to the famous street since the current titles were introduced in mid-2010.
Eagle-eyed fans have often pointed out that the current titles feature two outdated shots as they show the old-style Corner Shop and don't include Nick's Bistro.
The new titles remove these shots and replace them with two new ones - showing the Bistro as well as the updated exterior to the Rovers Return, which was brought in after last year's fire.
Viewers will see the new titles, which are otherwise unchanged, for the first time on Monday (March 10).

I don't think the normal viewer will notice a difference

That article answers a year long question; was the new set supposed to air after the Rovers Fire? I wonder how it would have panned out had they kept the pub in complete ruins until the new set and re-opened with a special episode tomorrow?
I suppose with the way Britain is today and people not having much money it could have been realistic for no money to re-build the pub and then Steve and Liz bailed Stella out or something like that. They did touch on that with Owen bailing her out.

If think the new outside set was supposed to appear almost immediately after the Rovers fire...

That is what I was thinking and the Digital Spy article says the new part after the fire; a shame all didn't go to plan but we can forget that now and look forward to a new-look Coronation Street from tomorrow.

This is soap land though where a burnt down pub can be rebuilt in a matter of weeks rather than everyone sit at home everynight watching the soaps.
