think it was a bit insensitive to have the lady being mugged carrying her husband's ashes in his bag considering that was a true story where the woman died of her injuries

the story of Beth the have a go hero was quite adequate without that in it

What, from two-and-a-half years ago?

Since then, I suspect that more old ladies will have been mugged and died who weren't carrying their husband's ashes, so it would have been more insensitive not to include the ashes. (<-facetious)

If producers avoided any storyline of which a variation had previously occurred to actual people, Corrie and Eastenders would be nothing but alien abductions and affairs with vampires.

I like Kirk miss hearing 'she's a heroine' Very Happy

I'm struggling as to whether to bother to point out the ridiculousness of your argument, or to just call you an idiot.

Which would you prefer?

pointing out something I didn't like does not make me an idiot because you lot don't agree with me, more bloody offence taken when none is meant Thumbs down

I thought last night's two episodes were very good; some drama but comedy and good-naturedness between characters. Bev was brilliant with the lady with the handbag and the scene with Liz and Amy was good too. It seemed to have a different tone to the programme last night; unless that is because there has been so much drama recently and they wanted to do something a little more light-hearted.

I would like to know where the scenes with the mill are being filmed as it is next to a canal; I am wondering if that is at Mediacity too? I am looking forward to the programme on Thursday night about the new set as I hope they explain about Mawdsley Street and actually show us a tour of the set.

Definitely using the new-set tonight and some of the interiors look different. As mentioned last week Dev's shop is different and looks bigger, Tina's flat looks different as does Peter and Carla's.

The Rovers looks different, lots of different angles. Is it a closed set now?

I'd love to see some pictures, I'm not complaining because it's only out of personal kindness things get posted, but I'm amazed no caps been posted yet for those that can't watch.

So if anyone can post some, it would be appreciated. Smile

Definitely noticed that D&S Alahans and Tina's flat looked different. Didn't pick up on Carla and Peter's flat but I did notice the new camera angles.

It's nice to see new walls etc to rooms!
