I know the tabloids have a reputation, but will they not have checked first? And if it is wrong, he wont be back "in months" it was said he would in Feb.

A bit of advice: do consider reading things twice before posting them here. I seem to remember you misread Addison Cresswell as Aiden Cresswell, as well as mishearing Julie Etchingham as Mary Nightingale.

I would hazard a guess at March. Julie filmed her last scenes as Hayley in November (aired this week) and they started filming in Salford in the New Year. So I reckon they're about 6-8 weeks ahead of when the programmes go to air.

Absolutely ridiculous. Thelma Barlow played Mavis Riley for 26 years. I don't see how Les Dennis who looks nothing like her can come in and supposedly be the same character. If Thelma Barlow didn't want to come back then neither should the character in my opinion.
