I know, it's terrible. I'm here crying my eyes out! I've gone through 2 boxes of tissues. Life just seems pointless with her in corrie. That show will just die out now. What a waste of money that new set was Laughing

Sylvia is surely the show's best character at the moment. Brilliant hybrid of all the old battleaxes, but she's her own character, not an imitation - Stephanie Cole is excellent in that role.

Yeah, she's great isn't she?

Have to say, I've also developed a bit of a soft spot for Carla Connor recently. Seeing a whole new side to her with the whole Hayley Cropper storyline ...

Not so long ago she was not like how she is now. She's somewhat nicer now.

Odd storyline tonight, why would any family want other peoples second hand jars of Marmite? Marmite doesn't cost that much does it? It seemed like a pointless filler story, I hope it will be concluded soon.

I suppose you'll either you'll like the storyline, or hate it.

Does anyone know what's supposed to have happened to The Rover's upstairs living room?
When Steve and Beckie character's were in charge of The Rover's it was seen all the time, and now as if by magic, it's gone???

There was a rumour when the fire storyline was first announced that we would see more of the living area; that was then suddenly denied by the producers.

I would like to see more of upstairs rooms and front rooms etc as we can then get an idea of what the houses will look like.

I wonder if a set for Audrey's house is being put together and that is why we are hearing about damp?

Seems that 250 people hated it enough to complain. I expect many more people will complain now that it has been publicised, especially if the Daily Mail cover the initial complaints too.

Just seen the advert on You Tube... I thought it was funny, especially when they blanked out the dogs face!

One comment struck me, in the section below the article....

"Some people do love to be offended, don't they? If they can't tell the difference between animal or child abuse and an amusing ad for the miracle of delicious yeasty goodness that is marmite, then where's the wit or energy left for things that really matter?"

If it doesn't even get vocal Guardian-readers offended, it must be doing something right. Either way, it gets people talking about the campaign...
