You'd have thought they'd have used the opportunity to bring it in to line with how most pubs are these days. I mean how many still have a non-digital jukebox?

Not many! Also, why in the interviews on television are they in the replica of the studio and not in the real thing? Due to filiming at that time of the day, or will there be preperations going on in there at 8.00am in the morning when Tyrone or Fizz-bomb occasionally do a interview with Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones?

From what I can see, I think I might like the new Rovers, the wooden column thing in the background hints toward a more "backstreet pub" look.

Didn't they say the sign beside the window was going to be another window? If I recall it was mentioned alongside ''making more living space for possible new owners''.

I don't like the new interior. Looks like a cheap waxwork mock up of the Queen Vic.
And the sign... The text looks a bit skinny :/
Oh... And on the lines of waxworks... Will Blackpool waxworks have to fork out for an updated set? After all, they do have a very large, convincing replica of the Rovers

Sure do. Interior and exterior. It's one of my favourite parts but the front of the Rovers and the small cobbled street with exterior mock-ups of Jack and Vera's house and The Kabin and other houses are very dark and its hard to get photos in there as there isn't much floor space and it gets really cramped.
I'm glad they got rid of the AWFUL Hayley and Roy waxworks from when they where Louis Tussauds. The most convincing is probably Deirdre Barlow.

Last time I was at the waxworks last August they where closing the diary room (Big Brother) where you could sit and be recorded. They had Bette Lynch in there when she was on Big Brother. Well, not she... But you know what I mean.. So I was confused of where the waxwork was and after 2minutes in the Rovers she returned...

Looks like a set of stairs in the toilet! LOL! Maybe the ladies loo is going to be upstairs.

Have to say... it doesn't look a lot different on the inside (or the outside) sadly.

that first pick looks like a joke as the stairs are the barlows, unfortunatly going the wrong way
the joke always being the toilet lead into the barlows front room

could be one of the sets behind the rover set then

Don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread but there are lots of photos of the new set being constructed, showing how bigger the new set will be on.....
