I hear that Katie McGlynn who played "Scout" in Waterloo Road will be joining Corrie as Beth's niece, Sinead Tinker. Regarding the fire, will we lose the photograph on the wall in the Rovers? The one of Betty Turpin. Or will Stella or Sean have had another copy hidden away somewhere which can be revived nicely into a new photo frame and find it's place of honour on the new Rovers set. I wonder.

The only thing I thought about when I learned of the Rovers fire storyline was exactly that: what about the foto of Betty??

Nothing else matters, lovey.

That looks like a completely different cellar from the one where we saw Karl start the fire. In that version of
the cellar, where would the window on the right lead to ... Ken Barlow's underground torture chamber ?!?
Shocked

Can't think why they put that window in as the cellar is below street level.

I believe the cellar where the fire was started is underneath the yard, and through the window is the part of it that's under the buliding itself. Perhaps THAT'S where the kitchen is, consider there's no way it could fit anywhere else Wink

To get to the cellar in the Rovers you had to go through the gents toilet door for some strange reason. The kitchen is next to the lounge which in theory would be in Rosamund Street!

Anyone else notice the mention of Kevin Webster last night? Filmed before the charge?

It's Michael Lavelle, not Kevin Webster, who is standing trial. There's no reason why they can't mention him - if anything it would be odd if they didn't. Digital Spy were reporting that Kevin may head off to look after a sick Bill Webster to explain his absence.

If you want to be pedantic, it's Le Vell, not Lavelle and his real name is actually Michael Turner.

A question for our older viewers.

Was Len Fairclough mentioned much before his demise off screen back in 1983?

Was it just my imagination last night, or was the exterior of the court the same building that a couple of weeks ago was the council building from where Jason's van was stolen by Karl?

Oh yes, because that makes my point less valid...
