Exclusive Pictures of the Rovers' Fire - ITV Website

Much of it does seem reminiscent of the last Rovers' fire, with the landlady trapped in the front room upstairs. That shot of Stella on her hands and knees seems very Bet Lynch.

I wonder if she'll also spit out a mouthful of vegetable soup. Wink

It's been seen dozens of times over the years, I think most notably in 1975 when Albert Tatlock and Stan Ogden deliberately got locked in there overnight to sup as much ale as possible. Laughing

If I remember rightly it was also shown in the 1986 fire, with shots of it alight with flames and burnt out the morning after.
