Well in the actual show the age gap between Michelle and Ryan is only 16 years

That's more believable because it does happen and they actually looked like they could be mother/son. These two just don't.

any news on how the building of the new set is going?

what I find annoying in reports on the street set moving is they keep saying 'the street, including the rovers, is being rebuilt' of course it bloody well includes the rovers, are they going to rebuild it without the pub, or any other integral part of the street, that is like saying we're rebuilding a football stadium including the goal posts

really hate it when media reports dumb it down and state the fecking obvious

There should be some new pics in a few days, they're usually posted at the back end of the month.

I was at Media City on Monday, and the sets developed a little since the last photos posted. It's still at the frame stage, but they've put up the frame for the Café now, and the foundations for the Medical Centre are down.

That difference was the same with the original actor.

Yeah, I would've thought he was more known for Onslow (or even Twiggy) than Corrie. How long was he in Corrie for?

For 13 years, from 1974 to 1987, according to Wikipedia.

RIP Geoffrey Hughes.

He did, Vernon Scripps; he continued the love-rogue lineage, when Greengrass went.
