They have yet to award the contracts for the infrastructure of the studio lighting - although there are full plans of this available which show the layouts of the interior sets for Studios 1, 2 and 3. One of which houses the full Rovers set and not a lot else.
I'm guessing that these aren't yet in the public domain?
Once they are no longer commercially confidential, would it be possible for you to post a link? They would certainly be interesting to us

So number 13 is going on fire again ok it's only a small fire and looks like it does not make to much mess, but don't you think they could set fire to some other houses instead?
I thought when Becky smashed up ken's house we would see a bit of a revamp but no he just painted the door black Also I would not eat in a café like Roy's Rolls that needs a bit of a refit too.

The vast expanse of the first floor of the Rovers seems to have been forgotten by scriptwriters lately, with the residents returning to the 'room in the back' for their day-to-day scenes.

I hate it when the writers don't us certain locations! Like for instance the rovers upstairs, the actually living area!, the kebab shop, the flat above the kebab shop (Michelle's flat), Julie and Brian's flat, we never see inside the fish shop, the medical centre is under used! The kebab shop on annoys me when it opened everyone used to be in but now no one in Weatherfield gets a pizza or kebab?! Unrealiastic!
Also on a similar note, when is anything going to happen with the butchers? There was an estate agent showing people round before I remember, but how wa sit explained, is Clare selling it with the estate agent taking care of it?
I think the random appearance of the upstairs living area was an attempt to emulate the Queen Vic by whoever was the producer at the time. I'm glad they dropped that set - the back room is much more "iconic" to the Rovers IMO.
I have zero idea how No. 13 was sold and how the butcher's was put up for sale - Claire's meant to be on the run from the police somewhere in France!

Locations are used and dropped all the time in soaps depending on the storylines. The kebab shop once had a family centred around it, but since they left why should it feature as a location just for the sake of it ? Do we really need to see Norris popping in after a night on the pull to order a donner kebab with extra chilli sauce just to remind us that its still there ?
Furthermore, why should anything happen with the empty butchers shop ? Look around, there are streets full of empty shops.

If it involves a storyline like that, then yes, yes we do.
