rather blows away the theory on most haunted that the set is built on a mass grave

What?! You're not suggesting Most Haunted is a fiction for entertainment purposes? Shocked

There was I, thinking that Mary really did love Dick.

All I can say about this is...the new set has gone up really damn quick!

Considering it's just a load of frames, I don't think it's gone up that quickly at all.

All they need to do is hang up the greenscreen - didn't anyone mention the street would be virtual?

Lmao Razz Obviously it's not done yet, but considering this time last month nothing was there, the frames have gone up quite fast, it's just exciting to see it all finally take shape Smile

I also stumbled across this last night, it shows before and after shots of the anniversary tram crash http://www.creativeinvasion.com/portfolio_pages/pro_corrie_01_city_wide.html

There's also a shot of all the Wider Weatherfield area, but brighter, making it easier to see what the surrounding buildings are

Yet the tram line seems out of place, too high, too big, it doesn't seem to be of the same ratio, maybe it's the high angle.

It doesn't look as though they have started yet on the buildings for Rosamund Street/Victoria Street, and the large building on the left housing the interior sets still looks like an empty shell.

It's very interesting to see the progress to date though.

They have yet to award the contracts for the infrastructure of the studio lighting - although there are full plans of this available which show the layouts of the interior sets for Studios 1, 2 and 3. One of which houses the full Rovers set and not a lot else.

I'm not sure, due to the houses being higher, the tram line will have to be higher, usually it is the same height as the houses, if not a little taller - Though from the persepective of the photo we have, it's hard to tell how high the viaduct is - also, notice, there's no Kabin as of yet. The 'Brewery' is noticeably smaller, being the same height as the viaduct

Sorry I meant Chewy's link to the CGI picture used in the anniversary episode, but the real new set does give that feeling too, depends how they will make it as its not got any backing in the new set from that picture.
