LOL. I can remember when the Corner Shop used to unashamedly display Coca-Cola, Cadbury's, Heinz, Kelloggs and other well-known brands - not just on the shelves, they had the logos stuck on a wall. The Rovers even had a Guinness tap on the bar at one point, I think. All before product placement, too!

And the Kabin was always stocked with Tunnocks too! Weird how product placement seems to have lessened the amount of real brands on display

Not really, you can't charge some companies to feature their products and use others for free.

Everyone seems to use Warburtons Toastie bread. Seen it in Roy's Rolls, Eileen's house and Jason's flat recently.

Not TV related, but it's nevertheless a pity to learn that the stage show Street of Dreams has been postponed again after poor reviews from the first few nights. The shows creator is reported to be very unhappy with the artistic content of the show, and the script in particular has come in for some heavy criticism.

Let's hope they manage to salvage it. It's a wonderful idea with loads of potential, if done correctly.

Nowt wrong with Warbies Toastie or Medium bread - I even manage to get it over here weekly, and to think I grew up near their main bakery in Bolton!

Should see my local supermarket - half the stuff they sell is Euro-shopper, and Albert Hijn is towards the top end of supermarkets!!!

Oh don't get me wrong, my comment was merely an observation. Warburtons Toastie is my favourite pan bread! Find the medium one a bit thin though

And the fact you can get them in bulk from Booker. It might look a bit weird going down to Tesco buying 32 tins of carrots, 20 packs of digestives, 200 bars of chocolate and ten rolls of electrical tape.
