Speaking of local government: Weatherfield Crown Court is actually the headquarters for Tameside MBC at Ashton-under-Lyne

Weatherfield Crown Court, as in Franks court case, was filmed outside Bolton MBC's Museum and Library on Le Man;s Crescent, which is actually , literally, a stone's throw away from Jim's failed Bank Robbery (which was filmed at Bolton MBC's Wellsprings building).

Inside the court, i.e. the court room was filmed at an old GMP Traffic Police station, on Castle Street, in Bolton, which has a purpose built court room studio.

Ah thanks for that... they must've used Tameside previously for the court.

There's ITV2 HD, assuming you have Sky.

No intention of paying the Murdoch Money Vultures just for HD Corrie re-runs here!
Wink

I do have access to Sky on my XBox360 thanks to a friend, but no HD channels are on it, including those from ITV.

No worries, I only know as it was in the Bolton News and I actually saw the recording of the outside scenes - on one of my few trips back home.

Yawn, so yet another "whodunnit" for a soap then.

And a pretty obvious one at that. Sally, Kevin, Peter, Carla, and Michelle are all characters that would never go down for murder, unlike the mother who is not a permanent, established character.

To be fair on Corrie, they've not really done a murder whodunnit before lol, the last thing resembling a whodunnit was the Hillman cards 5 years ago

There was the whodunnit regarding Tracy's attack at the start of 2011.
