I notice next Wed the 7.30pm slot has an extra episode of Corrie, its annoying that every week this slot is available, i.e. no football, they seem to show either an extra episode of Emmerdale or Corrie. I know there is a big storyline next week but surely Emmerdale and Corrie don't need 6 or 7 episodes a week!

Yes, and I vomited up what I had eaten almost immediately.

Thinking of the funeral, what time was the service?

The reason I ask is, Bev Callard was due to open the new Walsall Poundland store today, but I suspect (but I can't be sure yet!) she may have had to cancel due to attending the funeral.

(Think she should have been at Poundland between 10 & 1 but when I passed there around 1230, someone that looked like the woman from Shameless, that was in Big Brother(name escapes me!) was sitting there instead!)

I suppose I'll find out in a few days time, but did anyone in the area of the service see the cast arrive & was Bev Callard one of them?

was in Manchester for Betty's funeral today and It was a beautiful service. I was lucky enough to stand close to the front so I saw a lot of people arrive and afterwards I watched the service on the big screen and I also got a copy of the Order Of Service.

I did not see Bev Callard but I will say there were some many people around it was impossible to see everybody. I was saddened to hear Barbara Knox could not attend due to illness, I hope she is well soon as she is my favourite case member. Helen Worth stepped in for Barabara and gave a beautiful tribute, as did Bill Kenwright and her lifelong friend Charles Orr.

I was pleased to attend today and it was cold but the sun shone in Manchester and Betty was a remarkable woman whom we are all lucky to have had the privillage to have been entertained by her for many years. RIP

Is it me or does Barbara Knox seem to have a lot of ill health in recent years?(I know she's getting on, before anyone points it out!)

If she can't manage the workload, surely the production team should take note?

He used to be in Hollyoaks I believe... maybe that's where you've seen him before in soapland. Not sure if he's been in Coro before though

I'm on about his wife, I looked her up actually on imdb when I found out the actresses name (Judy Holt) and she was in Corrie in the 90s as Mrs. Grice, but can't place her...
